Best coffee for me.
I've always used Maxwell House Colombian,...always. But I don't drive now and the market that delivers does not carry Colombian. So I ordered a few of these small cans so I could ensure that the worst case scenario....running out of coffee...would NEVER happen. Obviously I love the coffee and the cans are small so no worry of going stale. It's a bit pricey, and that's the one downside. I can get it less expensively at the market, but I now have a stash, so on those months when I cannot get to market, I will still have coffee. Better for me, and better for the world, if I have coffee.

Great coffee!
Back in the 1970's I lived in New York and bought Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee for $5.99/pound (on sale) from Zabar's. It's now between $15-25/pound and I can no longer afford it! I've tried multiple affordable coffees and Maxwell House Columbian tastes most like Blue Mountain.

New label on my coffee cans
I have purchased Maxwell House colombian roast for years and was mostly pleased with the taste. My last purchase was received promptly and in good condition and I put it in my pantry uninspected. When I opened the first can, I was pleased with the coffee fragrance, no problem. However, over the next week, I noticed that the flavor was not coffee and I attributed it to my declining taste buds. Yesterday, I inspected the label and found that the words "half cafe" were right in the front, easy to see, but I hadn't noticed. Looks as if half the caffeine has been removed. Not what I wanted and I suspect the process has changed the coffee flavor. Now I have 3 cans of coffee that are not pleasant to drink. I am not happy.
