Thank you Mosi customer service ! I was sent a replacement.Works perfectly! No leaks.Instructions for any new users out there, and save you some time :)1. Top shelf of dishwasher only.2. Not microwave safe3. Screw all removable parts securely ( not so tight as to break the threads!) but securely. The removable parts are all around the cover (sipper, strainer, rubber top)4. Make sure the rubber disk under the cover is also sitting tight and in position ( this is what makes the watertight seal)5. Close cap and put in FULLY locked position.6. Liquid level should be below the bottom of the strainerThe liquid is super hot which is a good thing. But if you are like me and don't like super hot tea or coffee , I remove the entire cover (strainer and all) and just drink it like out of a normal flask ie giving time for my tea to cool down a it. BUT.....when you do that make sure you do it over a SINK !This is because there is residual liquid in the strainer and if you remove it on the counter, or car, it will spill that residual liquid.Enjoy !PS: Mosi am waiting for a microwaveble version :) That way I can heat my milk in the same flask. :P--------------------------------------------------------Previous review follows below. This is before the replacement was sent. Mosi reckoned it might have been a manufacturing defect.Bought this Nov 2022. Writing my review now.I love tea but cant be bothered to wait for the all the waiting for it to brew and baby sitting a nice cup of builders tea needs, so this is/was godsend !However it leaks. I always thought it was user error ( the old Gen x mantra of 'Intel inside , idi...outside' 😛)1. ensuring I am screwing the 2 removal parts securely2. not filling the flask with too much liquid.3. I mainly use teabags, have tried to swap it out with tea leaves.Leaks no matter what. At this point in time I do think it is not me, it IS the Mosi. There are pros but the biggest Con is the con :) it leaks.I am determined to use this because it is expensive, so I have put old (clean) socks around the bottle like a homemade koozie so when it leaks it goes on the sock and not all over my table and/or clothes.Pros-1. keeps tea hot2. dishwasher safe3. I love that the tea is not sitting in the leaves/tea bags steadily getting bitter and making it un-drinkable. This is why I bought this over all the other 'sitting in the liquid' tea flasks out there.suggestions: Wish it was microwave safe so I could heat my milk instead of using another cup to do that.

Do not buy. This thing is absolutely dangerous. Final Update!
Update 4/5/23Mosi did an excellent job in fixing a bad situation. As soon as I posted by review, they instantly reached out to me to make it right. I now have a replacement cup that works exactly as stated! I can be forgiving with that. Every company has a bad product come out now and again due to some defect, but how they handle it says a lot about the company and Mosi handled it extremely well!Update: 3/31/23So I reviewed this almost immediately after receiving it, and this morning I woke up to a message that we had been issued a full refund. In checking our messages, the Mosi team had reached out to us, assuring us this was a manufacturing mistake (after asking some questions on whether we had used it right). They had issued the refund and then asked for direct feedback. Not 100% a help with my wife having hot liquid splashed all over her hand, but it does show a proactive attitude with customer service. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that the unit I received was defective, and considering that they did refund the initial charge, I'm going to give them another shot and order another one and compare the two.For the record, they did offer to send a replacement infuser, even after refunding the purchase. That was another point in their favor, so I bumped my review score up to reflect that. I will update this review after I receive the new infuser with my thoughts.Original Review:I bought this for my wife since she loves tea and I thought it would be a cool way for her to able to make tea quickly between clients. When I ordered it, it said it would be here the next day. Nope. Days later it finally shows up.Okay. Not the products fault. My wife looks it over and I'm trying to hype it up and finally ask her if she wants me to make her a cup of tea because she was feeling like crap. I put the tea in, fill it with hot water turn it upside down and go hand it to her while I'm cooking.About two minutes later I hear her screaming from the living room. I run in and she's got an obvious burn on her hand and the cup is leaking. I take the cup and tighten everything super hard. Turn it upside down and you can see the water coming out through the top.Great plan. Hot water that you encourage people to turn upside down in a cup that leaks!I've literally bought bottles for half the price that could hold scalding hot liquid for hours without leaking.Do not buy unless you enjoy burns.

Waaaaayyyy to expensive
Ok these are useful but way too expensive for what it is. For goodness sake, almost $50 for a single cup travelling tea cup? I bought 2 at a BYGO type deal and even then the price is over the top. Oh and my son lost the sieve for one and I went to the MOSI site to replace it and IT cost almost $25 with shipping. Come on MOSI -- this is price gouging. On a user note: the drinking up is small so you don't get that 'traditional Japanese tea cup experience' that they describe. All that said I use it daily -- I generally just make cold herbal tea with it to carry to work -- but I still regret the amount of $$$$ I paid.

Almost There
Love the idea for portability, it’s just that I consume larger quantities of liquids (even tea).

Best infuser on the market
My wife and I love tea and have used our fair share of infusers over the years. I stumbled across Mosi and decided to order an infuser after visiting their website and taking their "tea quiz". Am I ever happy I did it! Great quality, easy to use, dishwasher friendly, and just overall a good looking, durable infuser. If you're a tea drinker, I recommend them :)
