The skewers are all manufactured with a defect. I didn't notice it at first because they seamed well made, slid through the wheel easily and tightened up nicely but while inspecting the fit more closely I noticed the skewer was about .5 mm thinner than the original skewers that came on the bike and that small difference in thickness of the metal causes the wheel to wobble. Wheel wobble is very bad and I had to give this product 1 star.

I had lost one of my original skewers in a move and needed a new one to get back on the road, but I don’t live near a bike shop. I took a while to research and figure out what exactly I needed and these parts were a perfect replacement on my Trek.

4/5 stars because there’s a missing nut on one of the skewers. If the manufacturer reads this and can send me one drive side nut I’ll gladly give you a five star lol. My only other option is to return and replace but don’t want to deal with the hassle. Guess I’ll just ride my bike like a unicycle😞

I was worried when the movers lost my bike nut that I was going to have a hard time or have to spend too much replacing some components, but this piece did the trick and for a low cost!

Easy to install. Installed with the correct torque. After a few hour ride I inspected the rear skewer. I noticed that the assembly was loose. The threads stripped off. Whatever these things are made of… is soft…
