Beautiful design, but the knives are notorious for rusting when washed in the dishwasher. If there's a brick and mortar store associated with the vendor, you can try calling and walking the damaged pieces in, preferably with your receipt to see if they're willing to replace or perhaps give you a discount on replacement pieces. I'm still using mine after nearly 30 years.

Beautiful set of flatware, but beware--the small spoon is very, very tiny. It's the 5" coffee spoon that holds just a generous half teaspoon, so it's not a food utensil.I ordered the Dry 5 3/4" teaspoons separately. Recommend Amazon's 5-piece set or buying separately.But I love the Dry flatware. Shaped perfectly for eating and nicely balanced. Knife is slightly serrated. Has weight, but not too heavy.

Spoon looked like it went through a garbage disposal. Spoons are too tiny. Beautiful to look at.

Great product at first but the knives have rusted and I cannot get the company to resend or issue any type of credit.

The search for the perfect cutlery began about 5 years ago. Every other set of cutlery tried too hard to introduce a unique 'design' that meant the shape of the fork or spoon was eccentric – 3 prongs, or the spoon far too round. Handles too flat or too wide. All I wanted was archetypal cutlery, but I didn't really know where to look.Enter Alessi's 'Dry' by Castiglioni. Knives, forks and spoons as they are meant to be, a perfectly refined shape that is familiar and superlatively elegant at the same time. The quality of finish is fantastic, simply shiny on the eating end, matte on the holding end. Weight is solid and sturdy, but not heavy. Well-balanced. Very subtle Alessi stamp in the handles, and nice (80%-ish recyclable) packaging. Yes, the design is what Jasper Morrison might call 'supernormal,' but therein lies the appeal. They are just effortlessly right.

Besteck ist sowieso Klasse. Gutes Gewicht, super Qualität. Aber auch die Lieferung war super (Bestellt bei Erkmann).

My ideal cutlery, well designed, pleasing to look at yet excellent at its prime function .... eating with, you really do get form and function in one happy unit.I bought my first couple of sets over 30 years ago from Heals in London and as I’ve needed more they’ve still been available and I can’t tell new from old ... the original quality has persisted.All in all, these are excellent ... yes, they’re expensive but they’re something you’ll have for life, not just for tomorrow.
