The first one of these failed within the first couple of months but the seller resolved quickly and replaced the unit with another, this one has now been going for over a year with daily usage, it has performed flawlessly and as a bonus it looks great being all black and very easy to clean. You have to get used to the pulsing effect of the power delivery and the difference between the power and temperature options to control the heat but once you get this sorted it does a great job. I do not use the gas hob any longer as this does everything I need! Great product at a great price!

The water starts boiling very quickly. It saves me time for cooking. Easy clean, simple to use. The design is good, it does not take too much space.

I agree with all the positive reviews this product has received, however, I do have one gripe with regard the way it has been pre-programmed to operate.The product will not funnction unless there is a pan on the hotplate to begin with, otherwise you'll receive and error message, which means you cannot adjust any of the temperature controls in advance. This wouldn't be such an issue, except for the fact that when it does start to heat-up it does so at the maximum temperature of 2400 degrees, and because it heats up allmost instantaneously you need to very quick in reducing the temperature to the desired level so that the pan doesn't become too hot for your needs too quickly. This is not a deal-breaker by any means, but I do think it would have been more sensible and more convenient if the manufacurers had programmed it so that it began to heat-up at the minimum temperatire of 60 degrees so that one could then incrrease the heat to ones desired temperature.

Worked fine for one week then stopped working so returned it to Amazon for a refund. I did not buy the same model again but bought a similar model which is still working. Very disappointed that China made appliance was so badly made.

Should I return it?? I just bought this induction hob and having tried it I can say it looks smart, seems to satisfactorily control the heat output (simmering is a difficult thing to achieve with many single hobs) and the fan is fairly quiet. It does in fact offer everything I wanted but for the fact that this Chinese hob comes with absolutely no warranty .So it is a real gamble. If it's still working in 2 years I will be happy but if it dies within two months I will be an expensive mistake. Clearly the manufacturers don't have faith in their product so why should I.UPDATE. It's a year later(22/11/2020) and although it has had an easy life with only occasional use I can report that it works as well now as a year ago. Possibly I should upgrade it to 4 stars. It's definitely not 5 star because the on/off switching of power makes it very difficult to simmer but for a quick blast of heat it's very good

Very impressed with the hob, surprised at the size, but the positive from that is that all the controls are large therefore easy to use and see. i bought this for my motorhome as a back up for the gas rings.What sold me on this model was using the watt control function rather than the temperature function to cook food. ( 200 watts - 2000 watts)Used it this morning and very happy with my purchase and recommend it to other customers . 5 stars.

The first thing I noticed about the Jeroop Portable Induction Hob was how low it sat on the worktop. After switching it on, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the fan was in comparison to others I've owned. This is also the first hob I've owned that allows me to simmer properly on the '400 watts' setting. I also like the timer on this hob as it allows the time to be set in 1 minute intervals (ideal for boiling an egg). A minus point is that if you try to re-adjust the set time by pressing the timer button, the timer is reset instead of allowing the remaining time to be altered. Apart from that, this is the best Portable Induction Hob I've owned and have no hesitation in recommending this product.The bad news is that this item has sold out and Amazon don't know when it will be available again.

We bought this item to use in our caravan. Very easy to use and easy to clean. We love this hob and have no regrets in purchasing it.

Das war eine Notlösung weil unsere neue Küche später kam als geplant. Der Lüfter ist schon arg laut und das schrille Piepen würde mich auf Dauer echt nerven aber die Speisen werden schnell heiß, die Bedienung ist einfach. Erfüllt durchaus seinen Zweck

Funktioniert tadellos und sehr schnell. Lüfter ein bisschen laut und die Pfannen summen, aber das ist normal bei Induktion…aber es ist ungewohnt

Tolle Induktionsplatte, Wärmeleistung ist top. Bringt das Wasser sehr schnell zum Kochen. Ideal für den Campingplatz, Wohnwagen etc.Ich habe sie auch häufig zu Hause genutzt. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Am Anfang lief es gut, dann stellten sich seltsame Geräusche beim Einschalten ein. Vermutlich die Lüftung.
