Not the best quality in the world, but just about does the job.

Not really stable at the base. I think if it was just positioned over a terrarium or small animal, it would be fine. But, my giant tortoise needs a lamp constantly in the winter and being built like a Sherman tank, he just knocks it over constantly. It’s still not very stable though even without Cecil’s input!

I own a number of Neptonion items and I have been impressed with all of them to date, including this adjustable stand. I don't have it for reptiles though, I use it as I grow Nepenthes carnivorous plants. I grow some in our spare bedroom, and there isn't enough natural light, so by using this stand and a separately purchased grow light, I am able to provide the perfect growing environment. The stand is easy to put together and is very sturdy. I can highly recommend this to you.

Bought for my dome lamp for my tortoise. The stand goes together easily but I'm jot convinced it is a 100% safe as seems flimsy and isn't solid once put together. For safety I have tie wrapped it together to the side of my enclosure to make sure it doesn't drop down an cause an accident. Just seems to me even once the it is screwed in as tight as possible it will at some point drop down on the arms. Its expensive for one small item and the price doesn't reflect the quality for the money I would expect for it to be solid and have 0 movement and for it to feel safe. It prob would be better if people see this to buy one that's double the price from elsewhere rather than having to tie the item down to make ut safe and sturdy like I have had to.

Being used for our little tortoise to keep the little chap warm.Decent sturdy design, its a counter lever design, props under the terrarium and that gives it the weight to ensure it doesn't topple over.From there its both adjustable by height and length.Nice little additions like a hook for the power cord to the bulbQuite a nice unit

Really great stand for my tortoise bulbs, had another but it kept tipping over and wouldn’t stand without keeping some weight on the base. This stands without any issues at all and was very easy to put together without tools. Bit expensive but sometimes it’s worth paying the extra to save you buying again in the long run.

I needed something to hold the Snake lamp and I got the large one. I placed it under the tank for it won't tip over. Took under 5 min to put together and messing around with the height to get it at the perfect level. If you don't want it under your tank I recommend something really heavy to hold it down for safety.

I wish the stand was taller, but I have manoeuvred it so that it does not burn my crested geckoes tiny little feet. it does a good job though

Mir war es wichtig bei der Einstellung der Höhe und Breite flexibel zu sein.Die Halterung hält somit das Leuchtmittel genau dort, wo es hin soll.Ich habe den Standfuss unter das Aquaterrarium plaziert, somit kann er nicht kippen und wenn die Stangen gerade und mittig zur Feststellschraube verschraubt werden, steht die Vorrichtung stabil und sicher.Ich bin sehr glücklich mich für dieses Modell entschieden zu haben.

We used the heating lamp for our puppies' whelping box over the 6 week period. It was great and good value. The leg was adjustable with a stable stand. Highly recommend!

So here’s the thing. It’s shorter than they claim it is by a couple inches. But also you have to remember to account for the height of the actual dome. So you either need a short enclosure or to be willing to be creative with stacking up books or dvds. It’s not the most high quality thing I’ve ever owned but for the price it seems to be doing its job and working just fine.
