I like how inexpensive it is, but as for security - a rock could easily break this open. It's just plastic, where as the more expensive ones are cast metal. But, If they have a rock, they could just break your window, too. I still like it because I just needed to store a key in a convenient place and am confident nobody will be trying to break in. But if someone wanted to get this key, it wouldn't take much.

The Amazon product page says this lockbox is alloy steel. I bought two. When my order arrived, I found out this lockbox is all plastic with only metal part being the combination lock. The body is hard plastic but you can certainly smash and break it with a hammer. You can easily cut it open with a saw. How could one trust thing and put keys inside and put the whole thing outside? I have reached out to the seller and so far have not heard anything back. The seller needs to correct the product description. I am thinking about returning both.

It’s good to hide the key in plain site. I just wish it specified a lot clearer that it was made out of plastic. I don’t know why I assumed it was made out of metal or something stronger. It will safekeep whatever you put inside as long as the person doesn’t come with a hammer. One hit and bam. It will open like an egg.
