Great brush for dry brushing or washing with
This is a great brush that you can use for either dry brushing the skin which is great for promoting lymphatic drainage and increasing blood flow to the area to improve the appearance and is also great for using in the shower/bath for cleaning. The brush itself looks lovely, simple wood with strong, elastic bristles. The handle is long and has a material end to give better grip when using the brush. This material end makes the brush much easier to use and reduces the risk of slipping when using it. There is also a tie on the end of the brush so you could easily hang this on your wall. The brush works great for both dry and wet use, especially for reaching those tricky areas such as your back, and for elderly people that struggle to bend and reach say their feet, this is a great option for them.Great brush that is a dream to use.

Brilliant for the Price - Recommended
I've spent a lot of time over the years being disappointed by the softness of many body brushes after they claimed to be extra firm bristles which are perfect for deep exfoliation etc, only to find them not nearly firm enough to even scratch the surface and therefore almost useless for me for proper body exfoliation as I've exfoliated my body religiously for years ever since suffering with acne on my upper body when younger and discovering how extreme exfoliating (followed by neosporin and similar creams) not only helped clear it up massively (and for a long time now completely) but also worked wonders on improving healing time of scars and evening out skin tone. Therefore over the years I've built this up to pretty extreme levels and need a really firm brush with extra stiff bristles and the harder side of this dual head one is brilliant - great bristles for some serious exfoliating! Plus the softer of the two will give you an incredibly effective and efficient mild exfoliation and deep cleanse with a good body wash. The firmer side for me is the winner though and so impressed with it. If you like to get pretty serious with exfoliating your body and have built up good resistance then this is a good one to go for. If you're just starting out with more serious body exfoliation you might want to build up to this by using the softer side first to be honest or at least certainly be very gentle with the firmer side initially. The handle is a decent length making it pretty easy to do your whole back from one position with a bit of flexing and contorting and the two little grip pads at the end of the handle too as with them the brush never flies out of your hand suddenly when you're really getting into it even when it's really wet etc and it;s really solid and well made. 100% happy with it and would definitely recommend if you're looking for truly firm bristles that mean business.

An improvement on its predecessor; two sides are better than one!
Ordered as a replacement for one previously purchased that had proven to be less effective than expected; its handle is oddly-shaped and provides poor grip at its lower extremes that allows the brush to rotate; it has a better grip closer to the head but reach is then restricted. This "FREATECH Dual-Sided Shower Brush Back Scrubber Exfoliator - Long Bamboo Handle Bath Body Brush with Stiff Natural Bristles and Soft Nylon Bristles for Wet or Dry Brushing" has a wide, flat bamboo handle that provides excellent grip when wet aided by two pairs of rubberised inserts at the far end, the colour of which dictates the choice between blue or grey. The brush head has stiff boar bristles on one side and softer nylon ones on the other. Each has a different purpose; the boar bristles may prove most effective to defoliate the torso, arms and legs and the softer side for more delicate and sensitive areas; personal preference may dictate otherwise. The brush can be used wet or dry but most will probably prefer to use it wet in a bath or shower, with soap or gel. There is a short corded loop by which it can be hung from a suitable hook for storage and to naturally air-dry; the brush could then give years of use before needing to be replaced.

Great back brush.
I have had a back scrubber before, usually the leave and take the house, but this version of the traditional bathing assistant has the benefit of a double head, one brush - the lighter has softer bristles than the darker, the head of the brush is not detachable which is a bonus because that only seems to guarantee the head comes off when you don't wish it too.The bamboo construction gives it good tensile strength and the design includes two grey silicon rubber pads to aid grip, which can be problem as things become slippery when wet and soapy. The length of the shaft gives good reach, and so scrubbing the otherwise difficult to reach regions of the mid back is made much easier. The brush handle has an eyelet and a small rope tie - perhaps too small, I had to adjust it out to make it easy to hang on my preferred hook - but a minor consideration.I am very pleased with this and glad to recommend at this price point - £10 at the time of writing, which I think makes this great value.

Well made two sided brush, effective
The bath brush has two sides to it. One side has soft bristles and the other side has thicker and stiffer bristles on it. The handle is made from bamboo and has some grippy pieces embedded at the end of the handle, which help to keep hold of it in the shower. It is a good length handle, which made it easy for me to get at all the hard to reach areas of my back. I liked the side which had thicker bristles on it. I found that I was able to give my skin a very good scrub with it and it felt as though it did a good job at exfoliating too. The soft bristles are good for applying shower gel and general washing. It's a well made brush. It's not heavy, but it isn't light either. It feels solid and the handle feels strong and robust. The bristles are well attached and don't seem to shed. There's a string at the end of the handle to hang it up with too.
