Powerful & Seamless with Milwaukee Batteries!
So far, the Milwaukee 2825-20ST 18V Cordless Brushless String Trimmer has been working great! It feels strong and powerful, cutting through grass and weeds with ease. I really like that it’s seamless with my Milwaukee batteries, which I already use for other Milwaukee tools—no issues with compatibility at all. The build quality is solid, and it feels like a tool that will last. Definitely a great choice if you’re already in the Milwaukee ecosystem!

Milwaukee does it again
This is not a wimpy WeedwhackerThis puppy kicks assIt’s not lightweight and heavy duty and after having worked on dozens of gas weed eaters, this is so much cleaner and less hassle. I own many Milwaukee tools and have a half dozen Batterys to interchange. They are the leader with the most variety and highest quality, electric tools.

Milwaukee does it Again!
Milwaukee does it again! I've owned Milwaukee cordless tools for a few years now. We got them at work, and it stood up to the mother of all tests there. The guys I worked with apparently were not taught to take care of their tools. And they were put through the "acid test" every single day. And even though the tools were totally abused, they worked great! I grew frustrated with my own personal cordless tools at home. (Yellow/black) The batteries didn't last as long, in fact I was on my 2nd set of batteries and needing a 3rd set when I decided to switch to red. While they were a bit more expensive, they've been well worth the investment. And every year, Milwaukee comes up with a new way for me to spend my money! This trimmer out performed my old gas trimmer easily. And now I see a whole bunch of M12 & M18 tools I should probably have to keep the others I own company. Anyone want to buy a set of used (yellow & black) cordless 18v tools?

Great price. Tool a bit heavy but works great. Makes a lot less noise than gas powered brands.

Usual Excellent Milwaukee Quality and Performance
This is my 18th year in the lawn care business. Last year I purchased a battery-operated Milwaukee impact wrench, to make changing mower blades easier - no more having to fire up my air compressor and reel out the air line, then reel it back in after. With that purchase I also bought an M18 5.0 battery, and a charger.I was so impressed with its performance (and still am) that I decided to go 'gasless' and give this string trimmer a shot. I figured the worst that could happen is I use it as a backup to my Echo SRM 266 gas trimmer. So I bought this trimmer and an M18 High Output HD 12.0 battery, to have a battery strong enough to handle trimming Many lawns every day. Not surprisingly, I am very impressed with this machine. It's equal in every way to what my gas-powered equipment can do. The fact that it's attachment-capable is a bonus, and it's really nice to not have to even think about gasoline. My Echo may now be the 'backup'. The grass isn't growing real fast YET, here in florida, so the last three days I used the trimmer, I only did 3 - 4 lawns each day, and it barely put a dent in the 12.0 battery; by the weekend it still had 75 percent battery capacity left. I haven't found anything that this trimmer can't do, that my gas trimmer can do. Half a lifetime ago I was a drywall hanger for a decade, and Milwaukee screw guns were the BEST, hands down. That quality hasn't changed. As many others have noted, you just can't beat Milwaukee quality! If you buy this beast, you won't regret it.

Great prroduct
I bought this to replace a gas weed eater. It's so much lighter. I have three other battery powered Milwaukee products, and the battery can be used in all. So convenient.

The only trimmer that matches the power of gas models
I didn't think the day would come that I only needed to have one trimmer. Previously i’ve always had an echo gas trimmer while also using several battery powered string trimmers that are easier to grab and go for a quick touch up. Well the battery trimmers always were too flimsy and would end up cracking the head or the string would get stuck. Meanwhile I have 1acre wooded lot that I assumed a gas trimmer was absolutely necessary to be able keep up with. WRONG! THIS MILWAUKEE TRIMMER IS THE ONLY ONE YOU NEED!!

When you first receive it, make sure the drive is properly engaged.
I did quite a bit of research and have been using Milwaukee M18 's for years. That's why I decided to purchase this. Simply because I thought it would be nice for my wife to be able to slap a battery in and weed wack without the need of myself. That being said, if you are a farmer or a gardener...don't bother buying this. Even with new batteries in turtle mode with heavy weeds you're lucky to get ten minutes of work out of it. After a month and a half using it once a week the mechanism that makes the tools turn stripped out just before the wand itself snapped. And that's my wife using it. She's a d gentle as a butterfly when using equipment. I'd recommend buying a crappy two stroke before buying this. Absolute rubbish. Spend the extra $100.00 on a gas operated. We didn't even get to try the extra edger attachment I purchased.
