Soxsoles inserts have become my favorite product for foot comfort and protecting the interior of all my shoes. I've been using them for over a year in various shoe styles and continue to purchase more in order to prevent having to move them from shoe to shoe. I like how they work in sandles, keeping the footbeds looking new, but I also use them as liners in shoes I wear with socks. I wash them in a laundry bag for delicates and hang to dry. They adhear like new after washing. I've not had any problems with them bunching or moving around inside my footwear even though other reviewers mention this as an issue. Mine stay where I place them, even in hiking boots on long walks. Most of my shoes/boots have removable footbeds that make it really easy to align the Soxsoles onto them, trim if needed, and reinsert. Otherwise, I fold and roll the Soxsoles, place into the shoe and unroll. They are not expensive because they last so long, renew with washing, and out perform all other products I've tried over many years. I have narrow hard to fit feet and often have to spend much more than I would like in order to get comfortable well fitting footwear. Soxsoles helps extend the life of expensive footwear and for that I am grateful.

I'm using these in "water shoes" (not actually in the water), to replace the stiffer polyester insoles that came with them. These are perfect. I did need to trim a little off the toes to make them lie flat, despite both shoes and soles being European size 39 - but they trim easily. I'd have preferred wide-cut (which comes only in wool, apparently), but the width is good enough. They don't stick to the bottom very much (it's cloth over rubber), which doesn't bother me - they don't shift while I'm wearing them and I just need to be aware when I'm putting the shoes on. Ok, maybe not _perfect_ - but close enough. 4.75 stars. I haven't washed them yet but am delighted that I can.

Someone one put me onto these and I'm so glad they did. You know how gross the foot bed of a sandal can get. These cover that grossness up. These can also get that stained look but can be laundered. They fared well with laundering. I put them in a lingerie bag so they were protected a bit from the other clothing in the same load. The staining mostly came out. I had to cut these down a bit. so next time I might order the next size down and see how they do. I normally wear a size 11 so got the 11-11.5. So, I'll try the 10-10.5. When I trimmed them, the fabric frayed a bit but did not fray further with wearing them or with washing them. The bottom is a gel like material. They stayed put until I removed them. Once I put them back in the sandal, it seemed to move more easily. So, if I took off my sandal, even that would allow the insole to move. So, I felt like I constantly had to re-position it. That's a bit of a pain, b/c I like to grab my shoes, put them on and go! Overall, I think this is a very good purchase as it solves a really big issue with sandals that are still very wearable but can look very haggard after a short while.

It was quite a struggle to get these to lay just right inside my dress boots. but I was happy with them once I got them in. Next problem came when I actually put the boots on and took a few steps. In the toe area, they moved around and got a fold under my toes that then hurt to walk on. They are nice and soft, and kept my feet warm, as long as I just sit in a chair and DO NOT walk anywhere... sigh. So they are getting returned.

Bought it in both black and tan. It definitely made my jelly shoes more comfortable to wear. Even with the clear material, it isn’t noticable when worn on. Worth buying for sandals.

These inserts are super...! I bought a pair in August and they arrived quickly - I tried them out immediately. I was, to be sure, a bit dubious because I've been trying out inserts all year, going from one brand name to another without notable success. This time, I was very pleased. The inserts fit nicely in my flats, which I generally wear without socks. In 4-5 days, they began to slip a bit, something the directions that come with the inserts mentioned would happen if the shoes had dirt in them (and they did). I took the inserts out of the shoes and laundered them with a load of jeans and tees, then tossed them cheerfully into the dryer. They held up splendidly! I am very happy with these inserts...so much so, that I bought a second pair last week to wear when the first set is in the laundry. I am so pleased with them, that I am buying more for myself (another pair of flats) and family members who have the same habit of wearing flats without socks. And...just as advertised, the inserts do clean up the insides of the shoes, grabbing onto bits of dirt, leaves, and what not from bare feet...my flats are cleaner than they've been since they were new...and...no odor. Run...don't amble...to buy the SoxsolS anti-slip cotton inserts: if you go barefoot in flats, you'll be glad you have these lovely shoe-enhancers!

I used to buy “Dr Scholl’s for her gel soles” for my shoes and sandals because my feet sweat a lot. I’ve had many pairs for several years. I would wash them from time to time and as I expected they are wearing where the cloth is coming away from the gel which holds the inserts in place. Some of them I cut a slit at the toe to accommodate the thong sandal which did not fray. These did not run from heel to toe, if they would they’d be unsightly. My purpose was for them to absorb sweat and therefore my feet would not uncomfortably slide in the shoe.I can’t find these in any store. I used to pay approx. $7@ I have seen them on eBay and poshmark for double the price.I reluctantly bought this product on Amazon at an expense. They claim they stay in place because of the gel side and are washable. The gel is questionable and they don’t really stay in place. These had to be cut to size like “oder eaters”. They were awkward to cut and I’m skeptical about laundering.Because it’s summer my first use of these is on sandals. It’s hot, I sweat but these inserts did not stay in place, they did not do what I intended them to do; make me a little more comfortable. I can’t return them because I had to cut them to size.I’ll keep looking.
