No good for high pressure, unless you want a lot of noise!
I bought this to replace a similar looking but noisy tap in my new bathroom. Having researched I found the likes of Bristan, Ghroe and Mira were well highly recommended. Well I installed this - all straight forward (though note that the tails supplied have tap connectors, so expect a 1/2 inch thread to screw on to - I wound up using my existing flexi tails which were compression fittings). Disappointingly I found the tap looked cheaper, and sounded a lot LOT louder! The water also flows out of the head in all directions, and drips for ages once switched off. Disappointed I pulled it straight back out to return, and reinstalled the "old" tap!It might be OK on a low pressure system, but if you've mains pressure in the bathroom (say because you have a combi boiler), look elsewhere.

Just ok
After suffering with severe water hammer in the house and after much elimination we can to the conclusion that it was a basin tap. We have a Bristan kitchen tap which we are most please with so gave these a go.Good Points:*Good quality and finish*Nice smooth action on the tap levers*Although no removable perlator these taps do not splash even with high water pressure due to the smaller flow rate it really does make a difference.Bad Points:*Bristan customer care is "zero", poorly informed and they do not know their own products.*On one of the taps the level will not run parallel with the main tap body, but only on the cold tap. Another reviewer has pointed this out.*Some of the Bristan taps like this one is manufactured elsewhere in the EU so the back nuts are around 24-25mm which is not the standard back nut size. So for home owners installing these taps yourself who do not have every tool in the book or wants to pay another £12 for another box spanner then it could pose an issue. Although not a huge one, personally I would just replace the EU back nuts with the UK standard ones that you can pick up for a quid each from Screwfix. They fit and even though Bristan say not to do this I cannot see how this makes any difference to the tap. Either that if you have the already 27mm box spanner is to pad this out to grip the smaller sized back nut. I could not get any other tool into the area to tighten them up not even my adjustable basin wrench.

Leek after a few months and not covered by guarantee...
Loved the look of these taps and was assured they’d be high quality and last for years. After a few months they started to leak when the taps were switched on, where the horizontal bar meets the upright. After having them for just 9 months I contacted Bristan and this was their vey unhelpful response ‘’this is due to a build up of limescale and not a manufacturing issue so we are unable to assist with repairing this issue’’ I queried this response as the small amount of limescale in the photo was definitely a build up caused by leeking water. I got no reply. Looks like I will now have to go to Trading Standards as these taps are clearly not fit for purpose. Our previous taps were almost 20 years old and we had no issues. This is the first time I have given a negative review for a product purchased on Amazon and it could have been avoided if I had received good customer service and fulfilment of the guarantee

tap dancing
The build quality of these taps is excellent. I particularly like how they've been hollowed out inside. They have a lovely chrome shine to them and come up nicely with some polish when cleaning the bathroom (bad idea to get cif or anything more abrasive than soap on them if you care about keeping the chrome intact for a long time.)A daily wipe down with a damp cloth and some liquid soap is more than enough. The aerator ends are OK but they let a lot of water flow through (the flow is heavy), so we swapped them out for these which I can attest do fit despite not being exactly 20mm (more like 19mm; it's a bit of a minefield). Tap Aerator 20mm male, 4ltr per minute, water, energy saving reduce bills chrome  and the result is a nice narrower and foamy flow that drastically reduces water consumption.I would have given 5 stars but for the life of me, I can't seem to get either handle to attach parallel to their faucet ends :( Very irritating. Tap Aerator 20mm male, 4ltr per minute, water, energy saving reduce bills chrome

Poor quality and didn't last
Two years on after fitting and with light use, the tap gland has developed some play in it and now the cold tap drips constantly. We have a water softener fitted, so this can't be down to lime scale. When you try to undo the valve to service it, it's really tight and almost impossible to undo without loosening the tap base. When re-fitted the tap lever no longer lines up with the tap body. I am about to claim on Bristan's five year warranty as these taps are cheap rubbish. AVOID.

Good quality taps
Bristan make a great range of bathroom fixtures at reasonable prices. The taps arrived quickly and the plumber was pleased with the quality. They look really stylish in our new bathroom and I'm really pleased with them overall.

Poor quality, don't buy this.
I'm very disappointed with this item.I have a combi boiler and for high pressure, it does a lot of noise. The returns window closed so I'm stuck with it.Also is not sturdy as you'd expect from Bristan.Hopefully, I will replace it with Mira soon.I do not recommend this.

Look good but drip when turned off
So disappointed with these. Yes they look really nice and don't drip when off but whenever you turn them off they continue to dribble for another couple of seconds. This was something I really didn't want and actively ensured we didn't get when replacing our kitchen tap so am incredibly disappointed to now have it with our bathroom tap. AVOID!

Great quality
It's a Bristan so you expect quality, and I have every confidence this tap will continue to perform for many years. My plumber is sniffy about cheap taps so he was very pleased to see I had bought Bristan. As we had to fit it in an awkward place for access, hopefully it will give us no trouble and will be worth paying a little extra for quality.

Excellent quality and price!
Excellent quality at a simply brilliant price. Five year warranty on Bristan taps. I've supplied and fitted hundreds of taps on kitchen and bathroom fits and it's just not worth fitting cheap taps as they will not last. These are priced at the same price as budget taps but are a quality product with a no nonsense guarantee.

For best results use only with mains pressure, not a gravity fed system
Nice tap but it only works efficiently with mains water pressure. If you have a gravity fed attic tank the water flow from this tap will be drastically reduced.

Comes with a pop-up waste
Bought two of these to replace my basin taps in two bathrooms and really happy with them for the price. Even though it's not listed, both came with pop-up wastes too. The one slight negative, which could also be a positive for some, is they improved the water pressure massively. The negative of this is they can be a bit ferocious and quite loud when on full, which you quickly get used to... but can be a bit of a shock for guests.

Made to last
Great made product, good instructions and so much smoother than cheaper alternatives. Ended up getting larger ones for the bathrooms upstairs and they are excellent too

High quality and smart appearance.
Delighted with the quality of this product, as well as the very smart appearance. Very solid and well made - my plumber was more than happy to fit them. Hard to see from the picture, but they have a very discreet indicator for Hot or Cold (Red dot/Blue dot).I can heartily recommend this product.

No good
One tap is fine, the other has a flaw in the stem and leaks all the time, the other did let water pass every now and again, but that appears to have stopped now
