Wanted to know if linoleum in a 1953 farm house had asbestos as many such floorings did. Decided to test other surfaces for same reason. Also concerned about the dirt around the house bc it was covered in known asbestos tiles as were (are still) millions of homes, esp in high heat climates. Turns out no asbestos in any sample but the wall, which if it hadn’t had damage, we would not have even tested!!!! The kit was super simple with an instruction pack, sample bags the require identification & a <one inch sample, and a cover submission letter in the manual to list all the samples, plus a padded, return, self-addressed envelope.As soon as your kit arrives, you sign-on to the prescribed web address to obtain your own identification number which accompanies all samples & is on the submission form. They get your phone & email at this time.As instructed, we completed identification on each sample, listed them on the submission form & sealed all into the return envelope. Then took it by a UPS store to send overnight (our choice to rush delivery) with a tracking number. As soon as the samples arrived at the company, I received a text Nice! Within 24 hours I had a complete report for all the samples; double nice.If you’re not sure if your older house has asbestos in the building materials, as was common, send in the most representative sample you can gather. So many building & even plumbing materials used asbestos. You’ll have an idea of your exposure & may preserve someone’s health down the road.

This company is everything they say they are. We bought a sample kit for 4 rooms. The kit had great instructions and all the supplies needed. We registered it online and learned the main location of the lab was very busy so they provided an alternative address. We used the alternative lab and we were very pleased. We received notification the samples had arrived and our results within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend them! Very easy to use!
