This is one of the best business books I have ever read. It is more conceptual and inspirational and not a book of detailed instructions on how to do it.It is more of a book about how high ticket consulting can lead to courses the reader can use to devise his own solutions. The course would still sell for a high amount but less than individualized consulting. The consulting provides experience and case studies that can provide proof that what is in the course works.Erway advocates an approach to information marketing that is completely opposite from what most information marketing experts recommend. Erway believes that his model will lead to greater profits more quickly and reduce the chances for burnout. While some experts, recommend working extremely hard for success, Erway advocates a system that will lead to semiretirement to provide more time for fun and family. Erway generally works four days a week for four hours a day and makes millions of dollars a year. I like that approach.Most experts recommend an Ascension Model. In the Ascension Model, the expert may give away a free lead magnet (aka ethical bribe), such as a special report, in exchange for the prospect's name, email address, and possibly additional information. The, a series of emails is sent to the prospect using an auto responder such as Active Campaign. The prospect is offered a relatively cheap product for sale. Customers are offered products of higher prices. A few might buy high ticket consulting or being a part of a master mind group.Erway recommends the Descension Model. He runs ads to attract a few well qualified clients who are willing to pay high prices for his consulting. He gains testimonials and learns things from the customers. He then moves down to offering group consulting. And then he moves down to offer courses for which he provides little, if any, help.I think either model can work, but Erway makes a lot of sense. And he also makes a lot of dollars!I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get into the business of marketing expertise through consulting and/or courses.

This book is a gem for any online entrepreneur and digital course creator. Do not hesitate in reading this book. Press pause on all other reading material and read this FIRST!

An easy read to gather actionable new knowledge.

If you’ve been in the online space for any length of time you know all the tactics can end up feeling like throwing a plate of soggy noodles at the wall. Joel not only reinvigorates with a solid tactical plan, he gives you what so few can…a scalable strategy to support your goals. His methodology is a refreshing and much needed change.

Works to define an overarching strategy without getting into the nitty-gritty details of exactly what you may need to think about. There are a lot of plugs into his website, which is great for examples but also important to recognize the book doesn't give away 'all' the answers.Very helpful, would pair it with another book that is more detail-oriented and specific

This book is absolutely brilliant. It confirmed the exact shift in the market I have been sensing over the past few years, and explains why it has happened. But more importantly, it spells out exactly how to structure your online business to succeed with courses today.I am recommending this to everyone I know who is in the online coaching, consulting or membership space. Best book I've read in ages, and a resource I'll come back to over and over again.

It takes less high ticket sales to make the same money, which leaves higher quality deliver to the fewer tx sold.
