This is my go to before, during, and after the gym for my protein shakes. It's never leaked once in the past 7 months I've had it, and I use the hell out of it (2-4 times daily).If you over tighten it yes, it's going to leak. Snug and a quarter turn at most, you don't have to tighten it like your the hulk. Don't be lazy and put it in the dishwasher, even the top rack, it will rust if you do, that's why on the bottom of bottle and the note inside/attached to it says "Handwash only" not dishwash.

Contacted maker about defect ,it wouldn't seal from the 1st try. Contacted them a second time. They never even cared to respond. Seems like a one and done company . No quality or support.

the silicone bottom actually protects it and keeps the bottom flat, it doesnt leak, and serves its purpose well.btw, im not written by a bot, you know who didnt kill himself.

This shaker bottle works great for my purpose - shaking up my husband's protein and vitamin drink. It keeps it cold long enough although says it's not insulated.The black finish is flaking off after 3 months of everyday use.My husband likes this bottle a lot since it has a lid that has a loop for a handle that he can easily grab. We were using plastic Blender bottles before and he is happy with the ss bottle. It doesn't leak. It seems well designed.I might look for an insulated hot cold type bottle in the future though as I like the option. I have a stainless steel large coffee tumbler that keeps my drinks hot or cold and I got it free at a conference. I wish there was a shaker bottle that combined hot/cold - so that's what I will be purchasing next time. This bottle has not leaked at all....so that is a plus.

I bought this hoping it wouldn't hold smells like plastic shaker bottles, and it works amazing. Hot water from the sink rinses everything out easy, along with any unpleasant odors from forgetting to clean the protein shake out from the day before. The blender thing at the top works great too. Well worth the extra money over a plastic shaker. Awesome product.

its a good shaker bottle, scratches easily for stainless steel

This is made out of very cheap material. it is very light with a seemingly steel inside. I am not even sure if it is steel on the inside. The bottle says you cannot use it for hot liquids.Oh and yes, you cannot return it once you buy it

Good shaker bottle. Sometimes mix builds up at the top. Doesn't leak.
