Great Book along with one other!
Out of all the basketball books today, this book and NBA’s 50 Greatest Basketball Players of All-Time 75th Anniversary edition are two of the best statistical and factual references available on All-time greats. All hardcore fans that want to know about the history of the league (75Years) should pick up a copy of these two masterpieces!

Noble Effort
I didn't like the small print and it could have used a few pictures. I liked the different chapters going from teams to players. The author does use stats which is ok but some of the modern stats I don't put much stock in. You can manipulate stats, ignore some, put more stock in others.Kareem Abdul Jabbar is the GOAT imo. When considering what he achieved at the college level as well as the NBA. That isn't convenient for those propping up LeBron James or even Michael Jordan. Kareem didn't generate the $ these guys do now because he stood for something.

Well written, very thorough.
Overall an outstanding book about the NBA. Very interesting and in-depth. Two quarrels... 1) the print is absurdly small for a 500+ page book, hard to read in long stretches. And 2) speaking of 500+ pages, why aren't the pages numbered?

GREAT book, can’t recommend it enough, need 10 stars
I can’t possibly recommend this book enough for you to buy, I’d gladly spend $100 on it, it’s well written and well researched. Tho I may not agree with every ranking and thought the author has, it’s a GREAT template to base rankings etc on. If your on the fence, go buy it and you won’t be disappointed

Not what I thought
This reads like a guy alone at a bar telling everyone what he thinks. No pictures, no artistry, just a word-dump peppered with stats and opinions. The print is tiny, the prose is tortured and repetitive. Agony awaits.
