These are true to size and work great for my whittling hobby.

The gloves are rather slippery and it's hard to hold some foods. Potatoes and carrots work well, but apples and lemons slip right out your hand. The cut resistance works as expected.

I haven't actually tried to cut one, but they do seem to protect against accidental cuts. Our souvenir from a recent trip to Japan was a very sharp kitchen knife. After cutting myself twice, I decided to try these and I'm pretty satisfied.

I use sharp knives and Mandolins for cooking. In particular, the Mandolins are extremely sharp and awkward to use. An injury from a Mandolin could be very serious. So, being wary of the things, I purchased this set of gloves for protection. They are not kevlar, but a soft polyethylene-like material. They are comfortable to use with reasonable dexterity. I would not do sword fights with them, but they are great in the kitchen. They also wash and dry easily without shrinking, I recommend them.

These are really good for avoiding knicks when doing prepwork for cooking if you're paying attention and being careful. I am terrible at knife prepwork in the kitchen. I get impatient and have cut my poor fingers more than once. These gloves are great for not getting cut but they do wear out after so many interactions with my knife. But it's not immediate. You can see when they are starting to wear so it's not like one day you chop your finger off because these gloves failed.

My grandson is starting a culinary program and I got him a set of Damask knives, which are very sharp. These are a much have, to keep from slicing off fingers.Although it took him a little bit to get used to having something on his hands, he is now used to them and after one slip, he was glad that he had them on.I would recommend these to any aspiring, or any other chefs and cooks.

I bought a size small from another company and I bought this one in extra small. This extra small size fit my small hands nice and snug! And this brand came as a 3 pack for the same price as the other company that was sold individually!

I use them for wood carving. Ordered M, according to the sizing chart and find them a bit too loose, reducing the tight grip I need for secure handling. I swapped them for my friend's size S, and find that better.They have good flexibility, I have not cut myself, but still feel the need to be careful.

One pair. Terrible gloves. Not cut resistant at all. I wish I never bought them. Waste of money.
