VenstarColorTouch T8900 Thermostat with WiFi and Humidity Control White, 2 X 4.7 X 6.3"

I own 4 of this and will be buying more. This thermostat has advance settings for consumers not related to HVAC field. T8900 is a commercial version and the price is just right. To be able to control all my thermostats from my laptop/phone/tablet anywhere on my building or from home is a big plus since other thermostats they extra charge you a monthly/yearly fee for this service, skyport with Venstar is free and it has several options to automate and schedule my thermostats year long. I recommend the residential versions for home unless you need the humidifier/dehumidifier controls. I have this thermostats 5 months now I will comeback if something happen to check my rating but as today I can give 5 stars. Free app and online remote control and capability to control 2 stage cooling and heating was a factor for me buying them.

Love these thermostats - have 11 of them now in my house (3 units, multi-zoned) - remote programmability is HUGE. Revising my rating DOWN because there is a *BUG* in the RESTFUL interface to the devices and Venstar refuses to fix (I've been in email contact with them) where you cannot manually control the fan on/off from the RESTFUL interface (you can from the GUI). It's been six months since I reported it and has still not been resolved in the current firmware. Editing this review again and revising back up to 5 star. After 2 years of badgering their tech support, they have FINALLY fixed their bug in the fan on/off via RESTFUL control. YAY!

These are basically disposable. They burn out all the time and I've replaced maybe 5 in 2019 in my facility. They're expensive and crappy. Terrible combination.

Simple install, easy setup, and versatile operating system as well as stylish decor. Reliable stat.

Excellent stat for the money

The room temperature reading on my thermostat was always at least 2 degrees above what was actual room temperature during the heating cycle. I believe this was because the LED display heats the unit. I tried to use the dimmest setting for the display but couldn't get an accurate room temperature reading. I had to set the heat cycle temperature about 2 degrees higher than I wanted so that the room wouldn't get so cold. I finally gave up and had a Honeywell Lyric T6 Pro Wi-Fi Programmable Thermostat installed and the room temperature now agrees with my other gauges.
