very tough, fits a fifty five gallon barrel very well.
These bags work very well. It fits inside a fifty five gallon barrel with enough hanging out to keep it secure when the lid is put on. I have several dozen assorted fruit trees which attract a lot of wildlife of various types. Unfortunately this bag is large enough that if I fill it with card board boxes that take up a lot of room without weight I cannot get our garbage people in Kansas City MO to pick them up. They will come out of their truck with an over weight sticker and not even make a effort to pick up the bag.

Good rugged trash bags
I work for a construction firm and we use these bags for both construction debris and in the office/shop. They are rugged, thick, and hold up well. This is also the best price I've found for them, as they are roughly 5 cents cheaper on the bag at our local Lowe's. I've bought them several times and will continue to do so. The only thing is that this vendor doesn't charge sales tax (at least not for my state) so you'll want to make sure you log these purchases for your use tax filings.

Very Strong Bags
I am moving and getting rid of 17 years worth of accumulated stuff. These bags are the best, I am able to fill them completely with heavy, bulky stuff and they don't rip.

Junk! - Bag rips almost every time
I didn't think it was possible to screw up the manufacturing of a Trash bag until I started using these. First of all, I am not a contractor and I don't use these bags for any sort of contractor type materials. I simply use them for consolidating kitchen garbage bags before taking them to the dumps. The bags just simply don't hold up. When pulling them out of the trash bin with any sort of load in them, they rip Often times it takes 3 or 4 bags to do what one bag should do because they rip, and spill out all your garbage. Again, this is with simple kitchen materials (cereal type cardboard boxes often being the culprit of ripping the bags to the point that they're unusable)I actually think the specs of the bags are correct as far as the thickness is concerned, they just don't stretch at all, any sort of poke and there's a gaping hole in the entire bag.Don't make the same mistake I did. There are way better bags at homedepot for the same (or often better) prices.

Man can they hold some stuff!
These bags are tough and they are bigger than "big box" bags. They seem to be well made and they hold a ton of stuff. They are a little awkward getting them out of the box. Large batches folded together. This only a small concern given the performance. Two thumbs up!

Not 3 Mil!
UPDATE: Still have some of these bags left and needed them this weekend for some sticks and twigs. Budded branches poked right through and these bags even ripped in places where I would pick the bag up with my fingers. The bags wasn't even that heavy. Again, did the same job with Husky brand 3 mil contractor bags without a problem or hole. These just are not 3 mil and unless you have something to compare it to (as I did), most people have no clue whether it is the right mil thickness or not.Purchased these on a whim after I realized I only had a few contractor bags left to move some wood chips from a stump grinding. It seemed like a good deal - bigger bags, more bags, and the same mil for about $6 more than other brands. I still had 5 Husky contractor bags left from Home Depot and upon opening this product, I realized instantly that these are not the standard 3 mil contractor bags. They are noticeably thinner than my Husky bags. My fingers even went through a few bags when lifting them up whereas the Husky brand didn't budge under the same weight and load. A few bags in the middle of the box had holes/rips in them. I am not sure how that would have happened except in the manufacturing process. I am very disappointed. I guess you get what you pay for. I do not recommend these bags if you have to do construction work.

Strong, large and clear, but difficult to remove one bag at a time.
I've been using bags like these for years when I need to put something out in our storage building. I like that they are clear so it is easy to see what is in there. They are very large and I also use them when trimming my landscape. What I do not like is the way they are packaged. There were 32 of them, however to get one out of the box, one must remove the entire bundle of them (they are folded up as one unit). This makes it difficult to get just one at a time out. I wound up removing the entire lot of them, to unfold them (bags are slippery, and pretty heavy, so this was not an easy task) then finally folding INDIVIDUALLY some of them so that I could just grab one when needed. If they had been folded differently (or rolled up so that one could pull out one at a time) I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Tough Bags for those tough times.
Working at a print shop requires some heavy duty garbage bags and these bags are just that. Even with the sharp edges of paper and the weight that comes with it, it holds really well. Highly recommended.
