Granddaughter absolutely loved this. UV Flashlight is fun and the rocks glow as promised.

nice for kids

This was a nice kit. The brush was flimsy and fell apart quickly, but we had a soft toothbrush that worked great. We also had to use a different hammer. Overall, it was fun and the stones received were a decent size. Our big complaint was it was supposed to have 8 stones and our kit only had 7. The Lapis Lazuli was missing and my husband went through every scap, so there was no way it was small and we missed it.

This was a fun little kit. My only complaint would be that it came with a couple more cages to make necklaces or the frames. I agree with another reviewer that the brush was inadequate. But other than that it was a raging success.

I gifted this to my friends daughter who is obsessed with gems. It was difficult to break out the gems with the wooden tools, especially because the head kept flying off the little hammer. It does say to add water if the block is hard to break but she’s 6 and stubborn and wouldn’t let us. She thought the gems glowing was just the absolute coolest thing and would ask us to turn the lights off as soon as she got a gem out so she could see it glow. She really liked the necklace, too.

I loved the first one so much I ordered 2 more in different colors. The one I ordered was the purple one.

The brush was not in the box. It was pretty cool digging for the gems but the clay was so hard I used a screw driver to get them out. I added water per instructions & it helped some and made a big mess. Still didnt help enough so I resorted to a screw driver which cracked one of the gems. I would imagine that a young kid would not be able to dig them out in that hard clay.

I am the best Nanny in the world again. My grandson who is 9 spent the afternoon digging out the crystals, he loves digging and crystals. He was so happy with this kit!

Ma fille de 5 ans adoré. Il faut l'aider un peu car les pierres sont fragiles mais l'effet avec la lumière violette est top !

Mein Sohn (5 J) ist total begeistert von dem Set. Ihm hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht die Steine mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug auszugraben und dann auch beleuchten zu können. Die kleinen Zugaben wie die Präsentationsständer, Anhänger, Schutzbrille…, haben ihn glücklich gemacht und lange beschäftigt. Einen Minuspunkt muss ich für die direkt auf der Verpackung des Sets aufgeklebten Versandetiketten geben, es ist kaum möglich diese sauber zu lösen und das Set dann zu verschenken. Schaut nicht schön aus, entweder eingerissen oder mit Etikett drauf, schade!
