They look real! Exactly what I wanted fo rmy kitchen. Well made.

We used it as a decoration to go with a Red Hot Chili Peppers party theme. Very sturdy and colorful!

These are some kind of papier-mâché, the string is only about a foot long, and the little chilies are very small. Overall just not what I wanted and will be returning them.

Looked lifelike

When we traveled to Santa Fe a few years back (BC--Before Covid) we brought home a couple of red pepper ristras. Gorgeous things but eventually they get dry and break off and finally too shabby to keep they go to the compost bin. Missed their bright spot of color so when I saw these offered I decided to give them a shot. The peppers are shaped right and the color is good. And from just a few steps away you probably wouldn't guess they aren't real. My only wish is that they were a fatter. Three strings together aren't the size of one genuine rope. But all in all, pretty nice.

Very lightweight and on a small rope. I was wanting to use them outside but they are very lightweight for southern New Mexico (they may fly away!) The red is vibrant and it looks as if the peppers could easily be removed from the rope and be used in other decorations. The peppers are thin (perhaps smaller than an actual red pepper) but they are an attractive decor for southwest style. As in the title it says plastic but it feels like a painted paper mache.
