Pretty cool little set

I have a sliding patio door with a handle that, over many years, had worked its way loose. I could ill afford to be wIthout it as I use it daily.I was glad I found this amazing tool!! It was easy as pie to use and did a yeoman's job on my handle. For such a small tool it was amazingly strong and perfectly engineered. The only negative was in the presentation when you open the cheap, crappy cardboard "box" that encased.it. For my money I would fire the design engineer responsible for this. I'm sure that for less than $1 they could have supplied a black or gray plastic container similar to the packaging of a cassette tape. Enough on that! I've already wasted too much time looking for a way to store this amazing tool.If you're still shopping for this type of gadget I think you can safely stop here.... Sam G., Philly, PA

I purchased this mini ratchet to access the water valves under my kitchen sink as the plumber blocked the valve handles by putting the drain pipe right in front of the valves. You can't even see them as the 'very smart' plumber did such a good job of blocking access to the valves. So frustrating.The ratchet set arrived 3 days late.As you can see from the picture it comes in a small box with a card with a website and indicating 18 months warranty. However, when you go to the website it's only for a dash cam not the mini ratchet set so a bit misleading.The ratchet is 4" long. It comes with 2 sets of bits and hard plastic bit holders. However, note that it comes with duplicates of Philips bits 0-2, and flat head bits 03 & 06. I didn't notice this before ordering, so I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand I was expecting each bit in the set to be different. But on the other hand these 5 bits are the most often used so more likely to lose them or wear down. So may be it's handy to have a spare bit. The bits are very snug in the holders that it's hard to pull the bits out unless you push them out from the bottom.The ratchet handle can be used either as a ratchet or on the opposite end you can put a bit in and use it as a straight driver. So handy to be able to use it in two ways.Also, two of the duplicate bits PH1 are not the same size as you can see from the picture. One is visually smaller even though both are stamped as PH1. Might just be the throat is smaller and the Philip part is the same. I haven't checked to see, but for under $10 what can you expect in the quality department.This ratchet set fits my needs and the price was right. It's made in China so not sure how long it will last but for light duty use around the house it works for me. Plus the bits fit my cordless screwdriver and cordless drill too.

Great little tool. Fits in small spaces. We use for many different projects.

Good build on the tool, operates well with minimal slop (a testament to the quality of manufacture). It is difficult to remove the flat-tip blades due to the inability to get a good purchase on them and the strength of the magnet. It is a good product and the handle having a bit holder is nice. You will probably want to get a longer extension to keep with the set though.

First off, any one who has had to repair an appliance or any device that has tight places with fasteners of any variety typical of today's manufacturing trend of "no-user-allowed-repair" and has mitts like mine, has to have one of these. Off-set handle micro ratchets tend to wobble off the fastener head, especially Phillips heads of any size and slot head screws, when used one handed and by feel only. Whereas straight leg ratchets like this one with their drives perpendicular to their handles, not so much, and it is easier to maintain head-to-bit contact pressure during operation. I chose this particular micro ratchet driver because of one particularly important feature; the ratchet gearing is twice as fine as most all of it's competition. This means fewer degrees of handle motion are required to continuously apply driving torque (clockwise or counterclockwise) and this limited motion, when the ratchet is needed for work in tight places, is critical for the application. Further, you should take note of the of the ratchet head thickness and its smooth top directly behind the bit socket as this dimension and configuration is critical for exercising steady bit-to-fastener contact pressure and ratchet control with one-handed use. The little ratchet appears to be well made; the all important bits fit very well into the magnetized socket and have to be pulled out rather than fall out at the most inopportune times in the worst possible places. I like it!

a bit false advertising

The wrench works well. It is not very long but I was aware of that from the reviews. My real complaint is that it didn’t include Robertson bits which were the screws I needed to remove and thus the reason I bought this tool. It included about 20 bits but should have included Robertson instead of some of their other supplied bits (some odd choices which I doubt many people will ever use). I just subtracted 1 star for this as otherwise the tool is fine.

This mini ratchet set is only 14 bucks.... it’s made well and worked great ... I need it for those hard to reach areas in my engine compartment of my truck.

All those inaccessible screws hidden behind immovable obstacles are no longer a problem. I cannot overstate the importance of this gadget for anyone who DIYs home repair.
