Very easy to use
I wasn't a fan of the pass through rj connector. After using this one I loved it. It makes any job from 1 to 100 cable very easy to terminate and never had any fault ever

Gold Plated Pins, Staggered Pattern with end cap
Review for: 'Simply45' Pass-Through RJ45 Modular PlugsFirst of all, I am sold on 'pass through' type RJ45 connectors and have been using them for years. I first noticed the 'staggered' pattern when working with heavier, outdoor rated cable - there simply isn't enough room to have all the pins lined up side by side. Since then, I have also learned that the staggered pattern is also supposed to help with 'crosstalk' because there is more distance between the pins.Simply45 chose to use 24k gold-plated pins and each have 3 prongs, which should insure good connectivity. Which makes these connectors different is the addition of the insulating cap that you add after you crimp/terminate the connection.

Well-made plugs that are easy to use.
I am building a new workshop and as much as I love wireless, I have a number of places where I really prefer things to be hard wired. That means I will be cutting some new lengths of cable to reach new locations. Over the years I’ve amassed all kinds of cable with different ratings, so as I burn through that it’s nice to have plugs that are made specifically for particular types of network cable. The feedthrough style connectors are the only way to go, even if you have to invest in a new tool. Much easier than prior generations of cable crimping. The quality of these plugs seemed very good. I didn’t have any manufacturing rejects or culls to throw away. Inserting wires was easy. I was using Cat 6A. The little clips on top seem durable, which in general are the primary point of failure in network cables. You can use whatever method you’d like for stress relief. Mine won’t be handled or moved very often and won’t have much tension on them. The plugs crimped well. I sent my first one to my network cable tester and it was a good cable. I tried to stress the cable a bit around the plug area but I couldn’t get it to fail under normal bending. I really like the little black caps that come with these. I’ve never used those before, or even saw them before. In fact, I didn’t really know what to do with them when I first pulled them out of the container. However, it’s a nice touch and implies the level of care and quality these are made with. I’ve had really good success with the Simply45 brand so far.

Great Pass-Thru Connectors
I've been using these with my Ideal Pass-Through crimper, and they've been working great! They have been fitting all my unshielded CAT 6 wire types, including the thicker outdoor rated CAT 6. With these connectors, the wires pass through the channels easier since they're in a staggered formation. There's less binding when passing the wires through these than some other connectors, which makes jobs go a little quicker, in ways. I have also used these on some CAT 5e, and they have also tested fine. I haven't had any of these connectors fail on me. I've gone through about half the container so far.The Cap that goes on the end of the connector is a nice touch - however, the caps are so tiny, they're tricky to get out of the baggy and to small to store anywhere else. They'd be really easy to lose if your not really careful. For those with big fingers, the caps might be a little difficult to press all the way onto the connector. The Cap makes a really light "click" on each side when it's completely pressed into place. The connector itself fits your standard RJ45 Port nicely. It has a nice click, doesn't wiggle around to much, and doesn't get stuck. The stress relief tab also grabs the wire jacket nicely.Overall, I really like these. The red color tinting is nice as well. The only thing I wish could be done a little better is the Cap. It really slows you down terminating connectors when you're fiddling with those tiny caps that are sticking together! I would recommend using these for PoE type applications (which makes the red tint perfect for ID!), but for regular data lines, there are quicker solutions.I give it 5 Stars - It works at it should, it's a quality product, and I'll be ordering more of them!

Not bad
I don’t do too many RJ45 connections. I wired my whole home with cat6 wiring and did several ends with a Klein tool and Klein single level pass through plugs. I found these Simply 45 split level connections a little more difficult to feed than the single level Klein connectors. They do work with my Klein tool though. For as little as I use these I will stick with my Klein pass through plugs. They are much more expensive but since I’m not doing too many it’s not a factor for me. If you do a lot of work with these connections these Simply 45 plugs will probably work great for you and save you a bunch of money on plugs. I also didn’t like having to snap the black cover over the plug ends. They look very similar to the Klein plugs I’ve been using. The color of these Simply 45 plugs is a very light pink, in case you care about the color. Overall they are ok but might be better for other’s
