Awesome Watch
++ Everything I need is on the display - date, day, month, year (2000 to 2099), and time *(you might need to manually set the time like hour and/or minute and/or second before letting the watch correct the time itself or before doing a manual signal reception, whichever you prefer. Mine came out of the box was 4 minutes ahead of the actual time, both in the same time zone, so I had to manually adjust the time before I did a manual signal reception)*. To do the atomic signal reception, I followed exactly what the manual said, though it took me 4 failed attempts before a successful one due to weak signal. Additional features - world time, timer, stopwatch, and 1 alarm. It can differentiate leap year and non-leap year. I read through the manual and it was pretty easy to set up the watch and play around with all the functions.- - The only two cons of this watch I can think of on the top of my head right now are its water resistance and battery life. It would be nicer to have a 100-200m water resistance instead of 50m. I would expect the battery life to be around 3 to 3.5 years for light use (to watch time mostly and barely to hit the light to illuminate the LCD) and around 2 years for heavy use (use all the functions and use them a lot) since the watch will spend a major part of the battery capacity to do the auto signal reception, which you can turn this feature off and adjust things manually.***Thoughts: this is a second Casio watch I have had already, and it’s been working perfectly fine so far. This is a nice watch and I love it. The face looks a little big to me or maybe I have a small wrist. Might put on a different wristband instead of using the resin one that comes with the watch. I will update my review if anything goes wrong with this product. Other than that, can’t beat the price and it deserves 5 stars!

The Best $20 dollar watch to date!
At $23.10 it is a steal! With Atomic time, it is never off even by a second. It is much cheaper than a GPS watch which will also give you accurate time. I was tired of my expensive watches losing or gaining time during the month because of the nature of mechanical springs wearing out. At this price, it is my outdoor watch when doing any kind of rough things outdoors. Easy to read at night as the entire face glows blue. Super light weight too. If they ever go on sale again I will be grabbing a few more at this price. Some complain they cannot get a signal in their area of the world, but there is an app in IOS and Android that will sync the watch to WWVB or similar if you are in one of the unfortunate areas of the world. You only have to set it up one time until you change the battery around 5 years later. Casio sells the most value for the money watch on the market.

God I Love This Watch But It Depreciates In Value Rapidly
I've worn it for about 4 years now and the battery is still chugging along. I am mildly OCD. When the clock in my car is off by a minute, I start to shake and sweat, and that isn't a good thing while driving. This is a self correcting timepiece. Instructions say it has to sit on a north facing window, face up, at midnight for this feature to work. Whoever designed it was more OCD than I am. I leave it on my dresser at night in any position, it still corrects itself to the millisecond. Be advised that self correction does NOT occur worldwide, and manual correction can be a bit of a pain in the butt. There was a time in my life when I travelled internationally. I don't think there is a place on Earth where the world time function doesn't work. DLT is a 3 second push of a button, twice a year. Great timer for my steaks (90 second sear per side, followed by 2minutes, 30 seconds per side with all six burners running. A second more, bye-bye medium rare. ) If your goal in life is to tell time, this watch is amazing. (Oh, it does not connect to the internet or Alexa for communication purposes). But I love it anyway. Sadly, the price has gone up. I paid about $23. for it new. It's up to about 30%. It will cost about 50% of the purchase price to replace the battery, and that's before labor. Replacing the watchband will run me close to 100%. cost, and that is way beyond my Social Security annual increase, but so far, the battery seems to be fine, as is the band. Bottom line, amazingly accurate - in your face Rolex, it's comfortable, and the mourning period for it's demise will be Amazon's delivery time. Highly recommended.

Estupendo

Clean design and the Waveceptor radio control time keeping is cool
This is my 2nd Waveceptor watch from Casio, my first being a more expensive analog model, this being a clean clear digital model. Waveceptor radio control of time accuracy is way cool, guarantees perfect time keeping above it being a quartz controlled watch. For the price it's a great value, looks nice even if it's mostly plastic construction. The digital display is large enough and having full on DAY-DATE-YEAR in a sub display is great too.Easy to set up and use the dual time keeping function with dozens of international locations for reference is neat and useful too. 60 minute count down timer, stop watch, and alarm clock are all useful. The BACK LIGHTING is excellent and is light blue color. The rubber style band is narrow and a little stiff but is not uncomfortable. The watch face is not overly large or too small. It's a cool looking easy to use and see digital wrist watch. For the price to get Waveceptor radio control over time keeping is excellent to have. Me being in Canada am able to have my Waveceptor watches receive the radio signal out of Boulder Colorado no problem. The crystal is not super hard and will scratch easy if one is not careful, but for the price one get this watch for, its not really an issue.A GOOD BUY!

Great watch for the money
Ok, I have to start by saying that the one I just ordered will not get the atomic clock signal. I've had several of these watches and have never had this problem. I'm sure it's just bad luck. This is not a negative reflection on the seller. I bought this one as I thought my other one wasn't receiving the atomic clock signal. Long story short, I sleep in a basement room so the watch was never by a window near midnight. When the new one arrived, by complete coincidence, they both indicated the same time to the second...16 seconds fast comapred to the online time signal. I placed them both by an upstairs window that night. Only my old watch reset to the correct time. I repeated the procedure with the new one..no luck. I've had it for a while so I won't bother returning it. This story is basically to tell you to make sure the watch resets to the correct time as soon as you receive it. Other than that, they're great watches for the money. One warning, be careful if your putting your arm in a tight space. If you snag the watch and the strap pin pulls out and breaks the plastic housing, you're not fixing it. This is the reason I've had to replace a couple. I now remove it when working...I've smartened up!

Water resistance of the Casio waveceptor all digital version watch
This is my 2nd Casio waveceptor. This all digital version costs about 25% of that of my digital-analogue version (WVA-M640D-1ACR) but it has more time functions. However, the water resistance was not terrible ! After few hand washings wearing this digital watch, the 4 buttons ABCD seems to be blocked. I have to open the case, leave it a few moment to dry up, then reset and resynchonize it with an atomic watch emulator. It took me half an hour to correctly restart the watch ! Although with this water resistance inconvenience of the digital version, the accuracy of Casio waveceptor watches (all digital and digital-analogue versions) is very good compared to many expensive mechanical or quartz watches. I loved to see the synchronization of these two versions of Casio waveceptor after they have received the atomic watch signal from Fort Collins (USA). Of course, I recommend these Casio watches for all the amators of waveceptor watches
