These are the only treats our dogs are getting anymore. Them being made to be healthy is the best thing.

It was a five star for me, but I don't know that it will be for others.My rescue White Husky/Samoyed mix, Hope, absolutely LOVES these treats. The flavor must be fantastic to her senses. She can smell them from the other side of the house! Just opening the package brings her running.When I first got her from the shelter, at age 9, she had been badly mistreated and was very ill with heartworm. She was sick and frightened, and didn't have much of an appetite. She just picked at her food. She would nibble a couple of these and then retreat. I took her through the heartworm treatment protocol, which was 4+ months long, very painful, and scary for both of us, not to mention extremely expensive. (Fortunately, the rescue group paid for the heartworm treatment.) Luckily, I wasn't working outside the home at that time. I had to be inside the house with her 24/7. She could not go outside except to poop and to pee. That was it. Nothing could elevate her heart rate. It was my job to make sure it didn't.As she began to feel better, she wanted more treats. These are tiny (around 1" square) and really not appropriate for a large dog, but she loved them so. After a while, when Hope felt better, we moved on to Newman's Own Organic Dog Treats. I now buy them in bulk from Amazon (good price). I still have some Buddy Biscuits, and if I want her to be an "especially good girl" I'll break them out. She will do anything for them.My girl has found her forever home where she is now happy, healthy and well-cared for. At 66 lbs. she has had extensive (read: expensive) dental work, enough to set her new adoptive mom back a few months in expenses. But we'll eventually be fine with that, and she can crunch those harder treats now.The Buddy Biscuits were a step for us. She found them soft and delicious. Her teeth were painful, but the scent of those treats was so enticing. They may or may not be just right for your small dog. I'd recommend buying one package and trying it out first.And please, if you have a dog, be sure it's on some kind of heartworm preventive treatment. Prevention is so much less expensive than treatment in terms of money, pain, worry, and care!!!Heartworm is passed by mosquitoes. One bite from an infected mosquito can do it. My friend said, "My dogs fur is so thick that a mosquito can't bite her." My vet said, "They bite inside the ear." No one is safe.

My dog likes them

To be fair, my dogs love these treats. I purchased them to use for training my 8 lb. chihuahua specifically, but give them to my other dogs as well. For a training treat, it is nice that these are easy to break into even smaller pieces for a really small dog. And like I mentioned, he LOVES these. But, they are very messy and honestly, they smell awful. Because he loves them so much, I continue taking them to training sessions, but only a small amount in a small ziploc in the tiny pocket of my treat bag. And I've added baby wipes to my training bag to clean my hands after I touch these and I fight through the smell because he works for them. For the majority of his training treats, he now gets the crunchy cheddar treats also made by Cloud Star, which he also loves. So, these are awesome treats to pass out to my dogs in my house when I can wash my hands directly afterwards or in certain training situations and I will purchase again.

Our Vet said no more hard, crunchy treats for our aging girl. These were a good value and she really likes the taste. I hide a few around the house when she’s napping and now playing Hide & Seek keeps her entertained while I get work done, so Win/Win!

My dog is fussy about eating in general and also about his treats, occasionally dropping (and leaving) a treat on the floor if it is not up to his standards. He prefers soft treats and loves these -- he always eats them up quickly!!The Cloud Star treats smell somewhat, but it is worth it because he enjoys eating them, plus they have protein and are made in USA.These treats easily fit into his IQ treat ball and give him a few minutes of play/work to get at the goodies. When I try to fill his treat ball with the Cloud Star treats and kibble, he dumps the ball to get to the treats, and often leaves the kibble.

My dog is a rescue..he must have been so abused, it was hard getting him to trust us. He is an older dog..no teeth, hard of hearing..and very fearful. BUT, when I started giving him treats when he was doing his business outside..he started to trust. I'm very happy that these treats, which he loves, helped get him to trust us. Even when he doesn't go out..he's looking for treats. He must have been starved also, he eats so fast and then wants a treat AFTER he eats his meals. We're very happy with our HANK..and he's got a place to live until he goes to the next life.

I have been giving my two dogs the oven baked Buddy Biscuits for a long time. I have a mini Schnauzer and a small terrier who is a rescue. The Schnauzer is 14 years old and is having a little trouble chewing, so I ordered these chewy dog biscuits. Both of the dogs love them and since they have the same ingredients, they agree with them. I love this product and feel good that my dogs are getting a healthy snack. .
