It fit on good, you have to stretch it or when you try to put it in, and squash your lens together, a lot of extra butyl will spill out (which is good, since it’s a sign of a good seal). People who say they have a leak either didn’t clean out the fitting correctly from the old butyl or overstretched it and made it too thin. I was able to seal my headlights twice with the single roll, I still have a bit of butyl to do one headlights but let’s say if you stretched it, you could possible do 3 sets of headlights.

Sealed my WRX headlights
Used to seal my 2019 WRX headlights and worked well the first time. Waited at least 24 hours before installing on car and taking this car in any water, including rain or a car wash. After that, tried when raining hard and no leaks. Tried a car wash, also no leaks.Went through a few car washes by now, and still working well with no leaks!Steps:I baked my headlights at 200F for about 10 minutes then used vice grips to clamp the headlights together until the clips clicked together. The heat will allow the sealant to soften and mold. I do NOT recommend a heat gun as it can unevenly heat and can potentially melt the plastic for the headlight housing.

Great reseal. Pretty easy to use.
This butyl rubber appears to have a slightly higher temp profile than others. When you go reheat it to do your final press and seal, this stuff is very sticky for sure. It gets soft as intended, but stays together. Other butyl rubber that I've used in the past, becomes sticky but also really messy. This stuff is sticky but not as messy if that makes any sense. You can hear any air pockets come out of the channel, as your squeeze together the lense together, so you know you have a good seal. Clean up is very easy with some alcohol.

Works well
I resealed my 2006 Subaru Forester's leaking headlamp unit successfully with this sealant.

Quality product, works well
Used this to re-seal the headlights on my Lexus LS460 after retrofitting clear lenses and upgraded high beam projectors. This was the first time I'd ever opened a pair of headlights so I don't have experience with any other butyl glue products to compare this to. That said I found this product effective and easy to use - I found that if you throw the box in the oven for a bit it's that much easier to work with.
