The Best Chai Tea on Amazon
I have bought the Twinings version, the Tea India version and a variety of the powdered versions of masala chai and This Chhabra version is my favourite for a variety of reasons. It tastes delicious with or without milk and sugar. the spices really come through on this. No one buys a masala tea and wants some bland version of it?! There is not sugar added which means I can drink it without worrying about my blood sugars which is a nice change given that every powdered version has a ton of sugar in it.

Not much of a kick
Nice enough chai but not enough of a kick for me. I think it's very telling that the type of cinnamon used isn't specified anywhere on the box. Just tastes like standard black tea with a hint of cinnamon so I wouldn't buy it again, especially at £6.98 for 15 tea bags.

No taste
Tried many chai teas and went for this one as it had 6 spices and described as “a warming spice kick”, what six spices what kick? It was totally tasteless, the tea bags didn’t even smell of anything!! To say I was disappointed is an understatement especially as it’s so expensive for 15 tea bags. The only “kick” I would give it is to the bin!!

For latte lovers, not chai lovers
VERY weak flavour. I’ve tried boiling in both water and milk… you get a nice strong cinnamon smell but little else. If you like warm milk with a hint a cinnamon this is for you. But you might as throw a few sticks of cinnamon in a pan of hot milk and make it yourself. If you like real chai, there is nothing pre-prepared that can make any sort of chai. No wonder these have been on clearance for a few months in Tesco, they’ve barely budged.

Amazing flavour, maybe a but expensive
I recently fell in love with the chai latte at the point that every time I see it on the menu I order it.I wanted to make it at home tho and while I was looking for some ready to use tea bag I saw this.I've tried it a bunch of times already and the choice of spices is perfect. The flavour that get extracted from the mix I super nice, smooth and warming.Still working on a way to make the perfect cuppa but that depends on me :DI only wish the price was a bit lower or maybe there were more bags inside for the price paid.

Lovely scent followed by slightly forgettable flavour
For the nose, these are lovely teabags. They may be a spice mixture but it’s undoubtedly the cinnamon that takes centre stage with the aroma, from the moment you open the outer bag. The unbrewed teabag smell has a lovely biscuity smell to it, and when you add milk into the mug, it unleashes another wave of that cinnamon goodness. If you judge tea purely on the smell, it’s definitely five stars.Unfortunately the black tea taste that follows it seems quite pale and flat by comparison. The spice seems to have reached the scent generously, but it doesn’t seem to have reached the flavour. The flavour isn’t bad, but if you drink it pinching your nose, it does come across as a rather ordinary black tea, not simply an assam but almost a builder’s tea even. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s perfectly drinkable, but if like me you like your chai tea to be a bit of a dessert in a mug, it feels like this tea only delivers on half of that luxury feeling. The bags are nicely presented and I like the simplicity of the packaging. There’s no individual tags or string here, for better or worse. The branding is nice and bold and modern, and makes a change from the usual exoticism surrounding chai.I’ll enjoy drinking these, and if the lovely scent had been matched in the taste department, I’d have given them five stars for sure, despite them being really quite expensive at time of writing.
