GE Refrigerator odor filter does a great job filtering out bad odors but it's not a magic filter with unlimited odor killers! When your refrigerator tells you to replace your odor filter, do something crazy and clean your refrigerator as well. Throw away all the old boxes of baking soda you've left in the fridge until you could figure out that you could use Google to find your odor filters on Amazon. Throw out all the old stinky leftovers that you thought that you'd reheat. Give the odor filter its best chance to be successful!

We have the GE Cafe refrigerator and have ordered these two seperate times hoping for a different result. They seem to work well enough at first, but then don’t work much longer after they are replaced. I admit, I do not know the standard of how long they are supposed to last, but a filter like this is not one I want to replace monthly.

This item was the perfect fit for my GE refrigerator and clears odors well. We will certainly purchase again!

Easy to install

Great product. Was a direct replacement for my GE Cafe fridge. Item is nearly identical to the original in shape, but supposedly has better performance. In addition to the carbon sponge, this filter advertises an additional carbon fiber layer to its design that provides the enhanced performance. The extra fiber layer is visible when looking at the back of the filter. Whether or not the performance is indeed better will be difficult to tell, but for now it is helping keep my fridge odor free.

A great price and the product matches the description. These are hard to find, seldom available at Lowes where I bought the refrigerator.
