Stop's the clanking!
This is the third one I've had. Not of this particular brand so we'll see how this one holds up. So far so good. 4 stars for now. I'll report back if it ever fails like the others I used before. These are great while they work!

Great hitch clamp! Has Zing Nickel plated hardened steel hardware which is MUCH better than stainless for this application.
Well built part, and this has one has hardened carbon steel hardware with a Zinc Nickel plating, which won't rust, and is much better for this application that stainless steel. Most people think they want stainless for these thinking they need it so that it won't rust, but stainless isn't a good choice for this application because when you tighten stainless fasteners down too tight, they will gall. Thread galling occurs during installation when pressure and friction cause bolt threads to seize to the threads of a nut or tapped hole. It is also known as "cold welding". Once a fastener has seized up from galling it is typically impossible to remove without cutting the bolt or splitting the nut. Galling is most often seen in stainless steel (especially when using lock nuts). Just look through the comments on these that have stainless hardware, you will see many complaining about threads stripping and not being able to get them off. It's because of galling.

Works well
Works as described. My rack rocked back and forth so badly that it made me nervous. I put it on wrong and it came loose just driving down the street even though I tightened it with tools. I had to look up a different one to confirm the correct way to place it on my hitch and rack. I highly recommend this or you will loose the stabilizer. One less star for no directions and almost loosing it within 3 mins of driving.

Love it...I ordered 2!
I bought an 18 inch hitch extender to attach a bike rack to the rear of my pickup. Without it, the tailgate wouldn't go down, but now it clears perfectly. That said, when driving at highway speeds, that setup swayed pretty bad and though I was confident the bikes wouldn't fall, I still didn't like the feel of all that movement. That's where these things came in. I put one on the hitch/extender and the other on the extender/bike rack. Tightened down with a 3/4 or 19mm ratchet and it's solid as steel - no movement at all. 5 stars, well worth the price.

Stops the noise from a rusted out hitch receiver.
Seems to work, towed trailer 600 miles this last weekend and no clunking like it used to.

Great product
I think this is a great product and works well.I only wish it was somehow covered in rubber. After awhile all the rubbing chips away at the paint on the hitch and caused rust. Just my two cents.

GOOD VALUE
This was easy to install and worth the money. Even so, It would have been nice if they had enclosed some basic instructions. This is a minor criticism that did not warrant dropping my review below five stars. :-)

Hitch brace - Great Tool.
Some low lives have given fake reviews on these suggesting that they are made out of tubular steel. I guess that the competition is trying to make them sound cheap and flimsy and if they were tubular, they would be. However, these are very well made of solid, tough steel, and once tightened prevent any movement of the tow hitch and the constant rattling that might otherwise occur. This was a good price and have worked very well for me. A good buy.

Easy to set up and use-no instructions though
Overall this worked as expected.I had never used one of these before, but it was pretty straightforward to use. However, I am somewhat of a technical person. I suspect some people might not be sure how to install it. A brief set of instructions would have been useful.

Works great!
This device does exactly what it promises. I just went on a 3000 km road trip with my tent trailer and the lack of hitch rattle was noticeable. It really works.

As advertised
Worked really well on a recent trip towing travel trailer. Was installed on equalizer hitch. Kept rock tamers level and kept play out of receiver.
