Works Like New
My Polar H10 was having problems missing readings and disconnecting from my Garmin during runs. I read that the straps loose connectivity over time. The new strap was all I needed.

Comfortable Strap with questionable durability
This is my their Polar Pro Chest Strap. The first one (which came with the monitor) had a contact rip off the strap, as did my replacement (which was free via Polar). Again, the contact ripped off when I was disconnecting the main unit (as instructed by Polar so the battery doesn't drain).I admittedly was rough with my first strap when it did break as I grabbed the main unit when disconnecting it. However, the second strap I was careful with how I took it off so as to not put undue stress on the contact, and it still ripped. We'll see how long this one lasts.Beyond that, the strap is indeed comfortable, the adjustment is very easy (loosening, and tightening it) and the connector for the two sides of the strap is very sturdy without being a pain to open up.

Comfortable strap, good quality. The Polar straps are softer and stay put better than my previous Garmin HRM Pro.

Low noise / high reliability
I purchased this upgraded Polar HR Monitor strap because the earlier design was very erratic and unreliable, rendering very noisy HR data while spinning on a stationary bike. This new strap renders very stable and consistent HR numbers at beginning (no sweat, dry skin), middle (some perspiration, moist skin) and end of grueling workout (heavy perspiration, wet skin). Highly recommend for the price.

Good and bad
first, the good:1.) The strap is comfortable, the plastic buckles are easy to fasten and unfasten.2.) The battery in the sending unit is easy to change. No more using a coin or large washer to try to open the back. It just pries off.That is the end of the good.Now for the bad:1.) The battery only lasts about two weeks in daily use unless the sending unit is unplugged fros the strap when not in use.2.) The snaps on the strap are very poorly constructe. A snap pulled out of two different straps. The strap lasts about six months before it fail s.3.) The replacement strap (only) is ex-pen-sive for just a strap.
