this one is very much like it and the quality is excellent
I have a Murukku maker which I received from my grandmother (my mother never made them), this one is very much like it and the quality is excellent. I now have my Canadian friend making murukku snacks so she will inherit this one from me

Works well, but....
All in all the product works well. The disk in the base is secure and the rotation of the handle is smooth. However, I bought this particular press based on the photograph. I specifically wanted the advertised plates. Sadly, this does not come with the plate to produce a medium sal sev.

Not as expected weight
Its not to specific weight it mentioned It very costly, I was expecting very good product, With good weight, But this one very light weight, I do not know how others gave five start, But do not buy,I never written earlier/reviews, But if works expected, I might give another star, Don't waste your money

Very good quality and shipping.. got my parcel earlier than estimated and the quality is really good. Love to make idiyappams and murukku with this tool! Just perfect..like in india!

The metal chips and it pricks into your fingers. Go to India and buy. This is cheapest quality.

Excellent ustensile.
Utilisé généralement pour cuire des "snacks indiens" à la grande friture. C'est très bon, mais il ne faut pas en faire trop souvent....Par contre on peut utiliser cet ustensile pour faire des pâtes fraiches très rapidement : il suffit de préparer une pâte à base de farine (blé, sarrasin , seigle, châtaigne, pois chiches, etc.) + eau + sel et poivre + épices + légumes hachés,... ensuite on tourne la manivelle avec l'appareil au dessus d'une grande casserole d'eau en ébullition. la contenance est parfaite pour 2 personnes. On remplit à nouveau le cylindre si on est plus nombreux.
