Same product for much less
I couldn't believe how much cheaper Amazon had this pump compared to any other website. I was skeptical it may be a knockoff product but they are indeed exactly what they claim to be and work fine so far!

1993 Cobalt 198 - 4.3L Volvo/Penta exact replacment for 857451
I replaced my Raw Water pump on my 1993 Cobalt 198, same as the 196, 4.3L with Volvo Penta out drive, The original Raw Walter pump had a V/P part # 857451, this Johnson Pumps 10-24228-1 F5B-9 is an exact replacement. Comes with lubed impeller installed and is ready to right out of the box, installation on my model was around 30 minuets.

it works!
I originally ordered this pump for my Indmar motor that is in a 02' Malibu wakesetter. However the pump was the incorrect one. There are 2 versions of this pump(I didn't know there is one with a smaller impeller and another with a larger impeller). I ordered the smaller one. Although the page stated that this fits the indmar motor. Note: Indmar uses the bigger one. The supplier shipped me the correct one ASAP. They did everything they could to make sure I was a happy customer.

Easy swap on my Marine Power 7.4 efi
Easy install on my 1997 Marine Power 454 xl engine. I needed a 5/16 Allen for the 3 bolts, some sealant for the threads, 5/8 wrench for the support bracket and flathead for the hoses.

INCORRECT LISTING DETAILS OR SENT THE WRONG PART
I got this a few month ago and finally got to the install point in my build. Could not figure out why the threads wouldn't fit properly. After some research i found out that the pump i received was metric threads.

OEM pump for Volvoe Penta small block V*
Is the exact replacement for the factory pump, at less than half the price. Haven't launched the boat yet, but it installed easily and tested fine on the garden hose.

IT WORKS
If you are tired of normal marine water pumps, this is your answer. I cannot believe the amount of water with thing generates. Replaced the stock raw water pumps on my (2) 1980 Crusader 270s. My water temperature gauge started working again. Apparently the temperature sensor needs WATER to work. Super easy installation on the crank pulley of the motor (did I call that the right name?).
