Size issue, but works!
A bit big wish it fitted my duvet better. All in all it is working pretty well and seems waterproof. Now I have put many of duvet covers on my duvet with the four standard ties and have never had a problem. This protective cover is really not sized well. I ordered and received a Queen and it just dose not fit well, it seems 3 and a half inches to long on the top and bottom. I had to sew new ties on my duvet to give it more structure, so there would not be random pockets of air and sliding (it did not work that well). The nights are really hot, If you have a thinner duvet this might be a great pick. If you have a thicker and warmer duvet this will not be for you especially if you sleep hot!It gets 3 stars only because of the size issue. The hot issue is expected because of the water proofing, so that was just more of a warning.

Works but it's WARM
Needed this due to a stressed out cat who peed on our bed twice in three days.Three things:1. I wish there were strings to secure it to an actual duvet cover. Yes, this covers the actual duvet and has ties on the inside. But there should also be ties on the outside for a decorative cover. Without additional ties, you'll need to either buy additional clips or readjust it daily because it'll slip around.2. It's HOT. We used it for three nights and my wife and I both got uncomfortably warm. I understand that's the nature of the product because it's waterproof but...whew. We'll be removing it and only using it when we have a house full of people again (stressed kitty).3. Other reviews complain about it being "loud" or stiff and uncomfortable. I disagree. Granted, it's not the same as not having the waterproof cover on, but it's not like sleeping under a plastic tarp or anything. No issues with that.I'm sure it'd work to keep the duvet dry but we'll only be using it for stressful kitty times.

Works, but not worth it.
I have a really expensive duvet insert. I have a puppy that isn't potty trained. I can wash the insert but just barely so it's not something I want to do every time the puppy pees in my bed. I put this cover on my insert and then sewed ribbon on the outside so I could put a pretty cover on top. I'm not sure if it's the double layer or the crappy new pretty cover (I bought it because I didn't want pee all over my expensive other cover) but they don't stay together at all. It's a fight every morning to get all the parts lined up so it looks nice and is ready for night. So just on it's own merit - It's noisy, and stiff but it does keep the pee off the insert so it works as designed. Until I got my expensive mattress protector, I thought all waterproof bed items were lie that, but the mattress cover is soft and quiet and you'd never know it was water proof.** Expensive is subjective, the items I'm saying are expensive are out of my normal budget and they might not be expensive to you but they were definitely a splurge for me.

Works as intended, but not comfortable
I feel bad for giving this a bad review, because it works as intended. It keeps your feather bed completely waterproof, and safe from a pet accident. However, it’s just not some thing I want to have on my bed. It feels like I’m at a hospital or some thing. It is very uncomfortable and ruins, the whole aesthetic of my feather bed. And it also makes it very hot. I don’t know what the solution is for a waterproof cover, but it isn’t this.

Needs Exterior Ties
Works well; does add warmth since it's less breathable than cotton/linen but worth it to not wash a comforter whenever the dog has an accident.Biggest complaint/issue is that because it doesn't have exterior ties, when I put my normal duvet cover on, it and the comforter just slide around and you have to constantly reposition them.
