A good reference
Beautiful book, well structured and with good examples of the fundamentals of design. The book uses simple shapes such as cubes, circles and lines in a way that is pleasing to the eye and can be very useful for the design student or for experienced professionals who want a quick reference on visual elements.

*
One page on each individual technique of layout. Concise, maybe too concise, but for an amateur arranger like myself a pretty good resource.

Simply amazing
One of the best books I have purchased in recent times. I bought it since I needed some definitions of design terms for my students but I am amazed how nice looking it is. You have all the terms explained in one or two sentences and a visual display to go with them.
