Bro Code for Parents: What to Expect When You're Awesome

My husband loves this show and got a kick out of the book he read the whole thing twice probably the best gift I got him.

I purchased this for my husband, who is a fan of the show, and he is enjoying reading it. We are first-time parents; our daughter is 10 months old. It would have been a bit more timely of a purchase had the book come out when we were expecting, but he is enjoying it nonetheless. I gave it 4 stars instead of five, as he hasn't finished reading it yet. But, if you enjoy the show and are an expecting, or new, parent, this is a humorous read.

If you've read any of the other bro code books then most likely you'll love this one. Especially if you're a parent or soon to be parent. This is not a serious book, it's all just jokes and funny stories. So for anyone a fan of How I Met Your Mother and you like or have kids then you'll enjoy this book. It's also a pretty big book,takes a little while to get through if you read everything.

I included this in my "we're pregnant" gift for my husband. He is a huge How I met your mother fan.

We're "advanced maternal age" parents (43 with a 9yr old) and this was so dead on in it's humor I laughed myself into aching ribs. even though it's meant as a humorous book, every young man who's posing the question should read it.Book was received in perfect condition (for a used-good) and quickly. Will definitely buy 'used' again from Amazon and this seller. Evidently they review carefully what they present for sale.

My cousin and I are both huge fans of "How I Met Your Mother" and when my wife and I gave this to him he started reading it and within 5 minutes he was laughing. He says its functional as well which is an added bonus.

I got this as a gift for a buddy that was about to have his first son. This book is funny and a good 'fun' gift. If you love the TV show How I met your mother then you will like this!

This book is hilarious! I love How I Met Your Mother so when in an episode, Barney mentions having written another book, I had to know if it was real. I was excited to find out that it was and this book is LEGEND-wait for it-DARY! Legendary! I highly recommend to fans of HIMYM.

I think they exaggerated a bit with this one. There are illustrations that are all but appealing, it's much more gross and crude than required and it loses most of the 'Barney Stinson' trademark comedy.

Gave as a baby shower present, went down beautifully! Fun piece of literature
