SpeckProducts Presidio2 Grip Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Case, Raised bezel, Black/Black/White

I've always had an Otterbox Defender, which is a very thick case but protects very well. When I got my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, I didn't want a case that always feels like it's an inch thick in my pocket, so I took a chance on this case.It is very slim, at least in my perspective. It is very well made, with hard plastic-like corners. The grooves on the sides and back provide excellent grip.The real test was when I was juggling 7 or 8 books with my phone on top while walking down stairs - and, of course, dropped some books and saw my phone tumble down the stairs and land face down. I don't have a screen saver (can't find one I like and that actually sticks), so I was expecting the worse. But, when I picked it up, there was a very small ding on one of the plastic like corners and my screen was absolutely fine.The case doesn't look cheap and, having had it for almost 3 months, it still looks as good as the day I got it. Great purchase for me!

This is my second Presidio case, and I love it! The grip is perfect for preventing slips, especially for butterfingers like me. It’s protected my S21 Ultra and it fits well making my phone looks slim than any other thick cover that does same thing.

Speck has always been my go to brand for cases for years. I love the way their cases look and the color choices. The air capsules inside the case are nice as they provide a cushion and air bag for the phone if or when you drop it. It does not add any bulk to your phone and it's light to hold when your phone is in the case. The grip on the case is unfortunately not like the old Speck cases 😕 The back middle of the case is very slippery and doesn't provide the same trusty grip and feel as the previous cases. I always put popsockets on the back of them, but this time, I've tried it without one and it just adds to how slippery the case is. I can hold my device one handed when the case is on, but to take pictures, I have to use 2 hands. Before with their previous cases, I never had to use 2 hands because the grip was so outstanding. I still like the look of the case, I just miss the texture they had previously. It is unfortunately not my daily driver case, but I do use it time to time. I have dropped my phone in it and the protection seems to be great just like before . I hope they change the texture on the back and the feel of it before I get a new device in the future.

I've always trusted Speck cases more than others due to overall reliability, and this one is no different. Other reviews are poorly rating this product due to the back grip portion being indents rather than protruding ridges in this iteration, this personally makes no difference to me and has not affected durability or reliability. The case in nice and snug on the phone, but a bit of a pain to take the phone back out of if needed. The only issue I have with this case would be how easy to hold it is, the phone with the case is secured in my hand but the tiny bit of thickness that the case adds to the already large phone makes it a tad uncomfortable to hold but not enough that I wont use it. Quite satisfied with the product.

So easy to put on your phone, not very thick at all, so was nervous about that. Appears slim yet strong. Doesn't mess with your camera clarity or screen. I purchased the black color case. Phone has been dropped by me and my kids and phone is fine. Color hasn't faded and still appears brand new after months of using it and cleaning it with hospital grade cleaning supplies.

Fits well and protective. Speck is by far one of my favorite brands for cases, whether it be Apple or Samsung. I'm a huge fan of their click-lock items for iPhone, I just wish they didn't patent it so that other cases could get in on the click-lock option. I would love to have a click-lock case that's as slim as the Apple clear case.

This review is focused more on my experience with the Otterbox Symmetry vs. the new Presidio 2. I previously had an Otterbox Symmetry case with my Note 9. It was a fantastic case for 3 years... Probably the most durable case I've owned to date. But when I bought the S22 Ultra I decided I wanted to try something different for a change, and wanted a slightly thinner case. Although I've only had the Presidio 2 for a few days I really like it so far. The ridges on the side help with grip. Although I was not a user of the previous Presidio with rubber ridges, I personally really like the style of the new Presidio 2 and it seems very durable. The Presidio 2 seems to be made well and sits solidly on a flat surface. The case is hard, but the outer texture is a very thin, soft-touch rubber type coating. One difference with the Presidio 2 vs. the Symmetry that I like is that the pen area appears to have better protection on the Presidio 2.
