This collection is amazing! A truly excellent box set, chock full of excellent music and plenty of supplemental material to thrill any fan of this band. The sound on this collection is outstanding, with a great remix vs. the original release. This set makes me wish Keith, Bobby, Waddy, Steve, Ivan and Charlie had the opportunity to lay down more tracks back in the 90’s. Great music that sounds fresh and exciting today as when it was released.

Donato alla mia compagna che una fan sfegatata dei Rolling Stones, e soprattutto di Keith Richards, l'ha fatta molto felice. La confezione nel suo insieme appare ancor più lussuosa della edizione equivalente di Talk Is Cheap, che le avevo già regalato all'uscita. Il pacchetto di gadget che lo compone è molto appetitoso, realizzato con una certa ricercatezza, e il book si distingue per una qualità di stampa di foto e della carta veramente extra lusso. Ci sono anche riproduzioni delle scalette dei concerti e documenti di lavoro i nstudio, dove sono riportate le tonalità dei brani e appunti tecnici che possono interessare anche chi si interessa di musica suonata. La musica... beh è Keith, con sonorità - e qua e là anche scrittura dei brani - un po' più sofisticata rispetto al lavoro solista precedente, decisamente in linea con gli standard dell'epoca, che comunque risultano nell'insieme ancora assolutamente godibili.

Besitze das Album auf CD seit der Erstveröffentlichung im Oktober 1992 - Es ist für mich das stärkste Soloalbum von Keith Richards.Als ich jetzt zum ersten Mal das neue Remastered-Vinyl aufgelegt habe ist mir sofort aufgefallen, dass das Album neu abgemischt wurde. Alles klingt merklich frischer, voller und poppiger. Die Instrumente und Stimmen sind, auf den Punkt gebracht, raumfüllend! Man denkt, das Schlagzeug steht direkt vor einem!Auch wurden hier und da "neue Töne" mit eingebunden und sogar am Lautstärkenregler rumgefummelt - Aber alles gut gemacht! Ein gutes Remastered erkennt man daran, dass nicht so beliebte Songs (bei mir hier "999") an Aufmerksamkeit dazugewinnen und plötzlich gemocht werden.Für mich war der Kauf sowieso ein absolutes MUSS - Rede mir aber nichts schön dabei. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein "Echtes-Remastered" wo merklich neue Arbeit drinsteckt. Der Kauf ist für jeden neuen und alten Stones-Fan sehr empfehlenswert!

The only disappointment was Amazon's shonky packaging that allows a heavy item to slide around and get some damage. But I was given a small credit back because of that so that was good. The music is great as you'd expect. A very solid and well put together deluxe edition. All the bells and whistles you'd want with this kind of thing.
