Arden Rose is a happy, honest, and amazing author. She has a very specific style that I loved and I wish there was more to read!
This book I found to be incredibly peaceful and giddy, Arden intentionally made this book in a way to make people laugh. She mixed tips in with her own experiences and I really loved the way she took the time to express her different ideas about happiness. I am a subcriber to Arden on Youtube, but even if I did not watch her I would still love it. She put amazing dedication into the cover and the style, that makes me laugh because the tiny pictures represent Adult life. She did a really great job expressing how to love and be yourself, without being hypocritical and not doing it herself. Because every aspect of this book is Arden and I'm overjoyed with the outcome of it. Cherishing this book.

"You can find a best friend, or a boyfriend, without ever leaving your bedroom."
Almost Adulting, in my opinion is geared towards a wide range of people. Those in their teens, and those who are adults already- but struggle sometimes to actually adult. Fortunately, I'm already an adult and fall into this category. While some of the tips in Arden's book I already knew about, and have done before in my whole 24 years of living, I still found this book entertaining and a good three hour read in my spare time. I've been a fan of Arden's channel since she still went under the username arose186- and love her open, and quirky personality. This book felt very 'Arden' to say the least, so I enjoyed each section and how real she was with certain topics throughout the chapters. I definitely would have enjoyed this book and found it mega helpful when I was a teenager, trying to find my way. Overall, this is perfect for anyone out there who wants a quick read that's guaranteed to make them laugh, and feel like they know the author a bit better after reading, and maybe themselves. This book is definitely it.

Funny, Encouraging, but Not Inclusive Enough
So this was a really funny, encouraging read that related to my sense of humor. I enjoyed finding comfort in seeing my similar life experiences expressed as a normal, awkward part of growing up. The one thing I wished this book had done better, though, was acknowledging transgender people.I’m trans myself, and there’s nothing like the nod of solidarity from books that use gender neutral language - it’s a really simple and helpful thing to use language like “people who have x kind of biology,” or to qualify statements with “cisgender people,” instead of just saying “women” or “men.” At one point the author wrote that if men could give birth, accessible birth control wouldn’t be a problem. While this is true if you’re talking about cisgender men, it left a sour taste in my mouth to see this statement overlook trans men, who are both men and (depending on what kinds of transition they go through) capable of giving birth.Other than that, I found this a really positive, relevant read.

Great gift for your newly “almost adulting” kiddo!
Almost Adulting' perfectly encapsulates the bittersweet journey from the carefree days of youth to the daunting world of adulthood. It's not just a narrative; it's a survival guide for those teetering on the brink of full-blown adulthood, trying to figure out taxes, relationships, and the art of cooking something other than instant noodles. I found myself nodding along, laughing out loud, and sharing excerpts with friends. It's a must-read for anyone on the brink of becoming an adult and a great gift idea for your kiddos who are about to move out and on their own.

I loved it surprisingly
I had no idea who Arden Rose was when this book was recommended to me on Amazon, but boy am I glad it was recommended. Hilarious, insightful, and geeked with "yes someone understands" moments I loved every moment of this book. I would give a warning for one chapter were she talks about her trichotillomania because it gets quite graphic (not to much though) but still possibly triggering to some.

Básico si te encuentras en tus 20’s
Una lectura fácil y reconfortante acerca de los años en los cuales no sabes que hacer y todo parece ser malo, la lectura hace sentido y te ayuda a ver las cosas diferentes.
