Works nicely for photos, love the metal feet, soft point and metal point for hiking. I added a wooden knob for using it as a walking stick. I found the right size, at Pinehurst Crafts - Unfinished Wood Ball Knobs, 2"L x 1.75"W. Knob has a predrilled hole. I stained it. Manbily should add this to the product. It cost about $2.50. Without the knob it looks unfinished, with your hand on the screw, not good. No, I don't work for Pinehurst.

Over all this is ok with light items but not very good with anything too heavy. Lighter the better.

I was so happy I didn't listen to the others and purchased this. Everything feels good and the legs and feet are built solid and nothing rattles like what was shown in the other's review. When stretched out to maximum height it does feel top heavy. I will be using it for my cell phone and sony alpha camera which is small and compact. I might not suggest it for user's who are planning to use it with their huge telephoto lens and big cameras.

The monopod is functional at best. However why the manufacturer has provided a carrying case is beyond my comprehension. It is totally dysfunctional because it is cut so tight that getting the monopod in and out of the case is sheer torture. I guess the manufacturer wanted to up the profit margin so compromised on the carrying case. Shame on Manbily. I wish they would just ship the product by itself rather than including a total farce of a carrying case since it does not fit the monopod. Buyer beware, and be prepared to injure your fingers if you use the carrying case.

It works fine. I can stand it on its own with my camera on it. Don’t know why other review is so low. Product works as it should. And price is amazing.

After loosening the bottom section's lock, the section fell out. Seems like there should be something in the pole to keep it in place. There is something that does that for the other sections, so maybe there is a problem with their quality control. The aluminum seems really thin. I have an aluminum tripod and while it isn't expensive, at least the metal is thicker than what this is made from. There is no way to tighten the bolt that holds the feet into the bottom section. They should put some "flats" on that bolt so you could use a wrench to tightly secure that bolt. The nut that tightens the feet in place doesn't work very well and there isn't a good way to tighten it without loosening the bolt that holds the feet onto to the pole. I wouldn't risk attaching my camera to this monopod. There has to something better.

Works great and it is extremely useful and serves its purpose. However, the tripod base comes unscrewed easily and frequently.

Sturdy and feels great quality and fraction of the price of others

Sehr schnelle Lieferung, das Stativ macht einen soliden Eindruck, es steht auf den aufklappbaren Beinen oder lässt sich mit einem spitzen Splint in die Erde versenken. Es lässt sich sehr leicht zur vollen Größe aufschrauben. Ich habe es für mein IPhone gekauft um Videos zu drehen, der Handyhalter ist dabei und ein kleiner schwarzer Beutel zum transportieren. Für den Preis eine gute Alternative zu einem schweren 3 Beinstativ.

Hay dos tres cosas que me han hecho elegir este producto. Por un lado, la primera el precio. Segundo el hecho de que tenga un pequeño trípode abajo lo cual hace que puedas estas manejando la cámara o el smartphone sin tener que usar una mano para sujetar el monopod. Por último destacar la robustez y la calidad que en principio se aprecia.
