I bought this for a bible study to do with 4 kids, ages 5-10. The older ones thought the cover was babyish, but once we started reading it, they all liked it. The writing is very conversational and seems natural. It's got a lot of good tips about how to make the Bible relative to a child's life. It's starts off having them look up verses describing God and how Scripture/Jesus relates to us. It was very effective and held our kids attention for a whole hour! I'm looking forward to studying this book with them weekly throughout the summer.
