Got these just before getting a promotion at work. But the 3 times I used them they worked great. Hopefully I can get a chance to use them again.

excellent, but susceptible to spousal-abuse
They do the job. Xcelite stuff is always good.I only suggest you also get some cheap, honey-pot shears and leave 'em out for your spouse to abuse instead of these. You know -- the spouse who doesn't know or appreciate what ESD means, or the delicate cutting that these are designed for . . .

NOT the 170D with black handles
I received the cheaper 170MN version with the blue handles that is made in China. (The pics and description showed the 170D with the black handles.)
