SuncastMetal 8-Inch Garden Stakes, Silver (Pack of 4), 24"x22"x17.5"

They were exactly what I expected. They held the garden edging in place even when pulling plastic garden edging to make sure all slack was gone and a perfect fit was achieved . I have not gone thru a winter with them yet but am positive they will hold edging solid in place.

I used these metal stakes for the black landscaping edging to keep the grass out of my flowerbeds. If you don't want to have to dig it out because it heaved up over time, use these. These metal stakes combined with good edging should last up to 50 years. A few things to note about edging installation:1. You want to pound these in as close to horizontal as possible. The flatter the angle, the better.2. You'll have to dig a small area around where you want to install the stake so you have room to pound it in flat (horizontal) and room for the hammer to swing.3. Install these stakes with the tab facing down.4. These stake aren't very sharp, so you may want to cut a starter hole in the edging (preferably BEFORE it's in the ground) so you're not pounding away at the stakes all day (like I did).I'm sure there are a lot of uses for these, but for installing landscaping edging, they are FAR superior to the cheap plastic stakes most edging comes with.

We used this to stake our 7-8' metal windmill and worked perfectly!

I used this to keep the edging around my tree in place. My only negative comment would be that I wished it was a little curved at the top to hold the edging better. Otherwise I’m pleased with it.

These metal stakes worked perfectly to secure the border edging in our flower bed.Very sturdy and bought this again since it worked well on the first flower bed edging. So much easier to place in the ground then the plastic stakes.
