Requires Assembly but rock solid once you get it put together
I had to watch 2 youtube videos in order to install these things correctly, but once I got them on they work perfectly. I really like how you can tension both sides independently to get the wheel to ride perfectly centered in the guards. My main complaint would be that the directions given in the package are very difficult to follow and a smaller complaint is that you need a hacksaw to be able to trim the supports.Tip: Use tape to mark off where you need to trim the supports and keep track of the orientation of each support when you measure it, they may be different lengths so don't flip it the wrong way after cutting it.Update: I had a stick get caught in my spokes while riding. Fortunately the breakaways on the guards worked perfectly so all I had to do was order some more SKS eyebolts (SKS hardware set 6011) and reattach the guards. I had a bit of trouble figuring out which hardware kit to order so I reached out to the SKS support staff and they got back to me promptly. +1 star

Gravel bike armor
SKS surely didn't skimp on quality with the Blumel Stingrays. They are top notch in quality in fit amd finish and feel very solid fenders. The only catch is you need to have at least 4 hands as it's quite tricky to install properly. If you are not good with building things or quit easily I suggest you have a pro install them. It wasn't easy but all the efforts are wortj it when you get to put them ond and see them on your bike

Installation not easy
Complete nightmare to install must be ready to adapt the installation to your bike. Looks great and feels solid time will tell function. Just wish they had the rubber flexible flap might need to customize this onto them. The spash of color is what made the purchase happen for me. Edited on 8/22 the more i ride with them the more i like them. Added a star

these look great
Great looking, and high quality. I see people complaining about the complexity to fit, but complexity is par for the course when fitting universal fenders to bikes. All bikes are different. Give yourself some time for the installation.

VERY HARD to install, but solid
I found this absolutely baffling to install. Maybe after I installed 3-4 of them I might find it easier, but cutting the stays is challenging and getting the nuts to stay in place as you adjust and tighten things was difficult as they pop off as the tension pulls from one stay to the next. Now that I have them on, great - but this isn't something i would buy again.

Made my bike a sexy beast
I was a bit concerned about the color of these fenders but hoped that they would not clash with the black and green finish on my new bike. I am so excited about how these look. The guys who installed them at the bike shop said they look like they were made for this bike. They also said they were not easy to install. They really made my bike a sexy beast!

One of the best fenders available.
These are sturdy lightweight fenders. A bit of fitting is required for installation but that is my only caveat with them. As far as the directions go all you really have to do is refer to the pictures.

The most frustrating things to install...
Would totally give 5 stars because they’re great fenders, but they are SUCH a hassle to install. I tried for nearly 2 hours to get them on just to realize I can’t put them on because you have to cut the rails in order to have them fit correctly. I unfortunately do not have the tools to do that, so I’m going to pay $40 to have trek install them to my bike for me. The instructions are extremely confusing and no YouTube video I found will explain how to put these exact ones on. I will update this with some photos as soon as trek puts them on for me.

A great looker and functional too
My son has a forest green bike and these matched it brilliantly. The mudguards are sturdy, wide enough for hybrid tyres, and the fitting were flexible enough to install these even with disk brakes on the wheels.Because of the disk brakes we could not secure all of the metal rods, but we were able to shape one to go around the disk brake assembly and as it was long enough, it could still attach to the mudguard. These have been on the bike for > 6 months now and we have not seen any issues. They look like they came with the bike!

Leggerezza e robustezza
Articolo funzionale, leggero e resistente. Ripara ottimamente gli schizzi della ruota e non interferisce con il pneumatico

Great Product.
Very pleased. Takes a bit of adjustment to fit and the stays are a little fiddly. Good tip: a bolt cutter makes it easy to trim the tops of the stays, ready for the protective caps. Colour goes well with the bike and they do a very good job. Just make sure there are mounting points for them on the forks and frame as some bikes don’t have them. Would definitely recommend.
