Mediocre photos and higher level language than I hoped for
There are some good photos in this book, but no actual “life cycle” graphic. Also, the larva pictures are oddly colored. The binding is staples. The language is too high for the little ones that I teach, but might be good for your kids. I like “The Life Cycle of a Ladybug” by Blastoff Readers more. However, this is cheap, so I suppose I shouldn’t expect too much.

Great pictures, descriptive and full of facts
I read it with kids at school. They loved all the pictures and fun facts. Will be using it next again. We also had real life ladybugs to look at and a lady bug larva kit. So the kids were comparing pictures to a real life cycle

Very good book
This book is great for teaching little ones about lady bug growth. We purchased it for our 4 year old son along with a lady bug hatchery so he got to see the process first hand. This book was a great addition and helped him predict the stages before they occurred. The book is very well illustrated and the language is exact but simple enough for children.
