Overall this appears to be a reasonably nice litter box. The materials seem sturdy (though our dog will certainly put that to the test) and once constructed, it doesn’t seem as though it will come apart like many other litter boxes.I am pretty disappointed, however, with a few things. First, this is advertised to have an optional one-way door. Do not be confused. As it arrives, this is a two way door and cannot be configured any other way. Additionally, the seams inside the box leave some gaps (see photos) which will inevitably collect and/or leak urine if your cat is even a little adventurous with their aim.To be perfectly honest, I’m too lazy to return this after the 30 minutes it took me to put it together (not proud of that, but it took a bit to figure out). So we’ve forced the door to become one way with a bag clip and are telling ourselves that we’ll hose down the interior when we change the litter. I’m disappointed that I spent nearly $50 to get a product that wasn’t as advertised, but I do recognize that I didn’t buy an “expensive” litter box, so there’s something.

this was difficult to put together, and to wash it thoroughly I have to disassemble it and put it back together. it doesn't keep the smell out and it leaks at the bottom. the quality isn't bad but it's not definitely not the litter box for me I'll be buying a new one

Update: Once kittens got bigger, the seam between tray and cover becale problematic, urine would leak out so had to dispose of this. Cats use this without problem but have not been able to get them to enter on top and leave by way of little door. That was kind of selling point to me because if you have dogs....you know what they love to do with Kitty Roca. So that feature is kind of not the best for us. Otherwise it is a good size, was not hard to assemble. Smell? Well it depends on keeping the box clean I think, as well as what you feed the cats I suppose. When the cats were kittens smell was horrific-not the fault of the box rather I think it was the kitten food. Up side is it motivates one to scoop it out ASAP! This is not a super deep tray which has not been a problem. Sliding it out to clean could be smoother but not impossible to do. The one thing I definitely don't love is the scoop. It hands kind of handily on the box but it has sort of a serrated end, kind of like a fork? God help you if you skewer the thing you are trying to scoop out because now it is glued to the scoop.

Okay so I got this for my cats !! It seems to be alot easier to clean the only down fall is my cat love flinging pee litter to the back. Wich is not bad with a hose it's super easy to clean out the cracks . My cat wasn't happy with her bedroom box anymore I have two litter boxes in my house I kep the og one in the living room this in my bedroom all I can say is I'm impressed !! Now mine are kittens except two . They will be a year in July but everyone loves it n the puppy pads are super handy!! My grey kitty gets anxiety when I go to work I put two puppy pads out in case we have accidents and she isn't that old . But I'd say 10 out of 10 for this!!

I’m kinda shocked but this litter box is pretty cool. My cats like it and it keeps all the mess in the box for the most part. I do recommend putting it on top of a litter mat, but maybe my cats are just a little messy. All in all it was a good purchase.

I have been trying to assemble this product since August. Its made of cheap plastic and do not fit in easily. When once side fits the other doesn't, final product breaks down before my kitties use. Do I need to duck tape this for them to use it? Its not worth the money and I would not recommend it.

Was a house warming gift she seem happy to get wat she asked for never said anything about any problems so I'm guess she happy with it in her 3 cats seem to use with no problem

Love that it folds flat. I foster cats so I go without kitties every so often. I can pick it up from the top opening to move it and it doesn't fall apart, so that's a plus. The drawer that slides out is great for cleaning! Another great part is that it's not stinky! I haven't added any smell reducers either. Lastly, maybe most importantly, my dog can't fit his head in to get cat snacks. If you know, you know.
