My daughter loves this night light. She has been in love with it since we first got it. We actually had it for about a year and then we noticed somehow the cord got frayed and she was devastated because she loves the stars in her room every night. I contacted the company to see if there was a way to purchase an additional cord because using batteries it just dies to quickly. The company immediately responded and advised they would send a whole new light with a new cord for free!! Apparently, what I did not read when I first got the night light was that the product is covered by a lifetime warranty. The company was super responsive and sent us the new light for free and it came really quick. My daughter was so happy to have her light back and she still loves using it every night. I highly recommend purchasing this light as it works great and if there happens to be any issues, the company will replace for free!!

Very pleased with this light for my soon to arrive newborn. The stars and moon film projects clearly and beautifully on walls and ceiling in the nursery. Stars and moons can be displayed in either individual colors or, can be combined in several different color patterns. Has a rotating option which looks magical. When film is removed, it serves as a standard night light in any of the 5 different colors. Easy to use. It is not super durable and the flimsy film pops out of the dome holder when you remove it to use as a standard night light, but I will probably just keep the film in it for the projector effect anyway, so not a big deal. Would not recommend letting your toddler play with it or carry it around, as they will probably easily break it. As long as it's kept undisturbed on a table, it should remain in good condition. Plug is USB only, so you will need to use your own plug adapter in order to plug it into the wall. I have several from old phones and tablets so that isn't a big deal. If it came with a standard cord and plug, you wouldn't have the option to have a cordless look when using batteries, so i actually prefer that it uses a USB cord. (It also takes batteries.) I can't say how long the bulbs will last, as I have only had the light for a few days and used it only once to check it out. Would also have liked if it had a shut off timer, but you must manually turn it off. I think my baby will love it. 4 stars because the plastic is cheap and not very durable. I honestly think this light should have only been half the price of what I paid for it, but it's still a good product, and the projection effect really is very pretty. Fast shipping through Prime. All in all, pleased with this light. Would make a good gift for kids of any age.

It is such a great thing for my toddler girl! We bought this to replace a similar one with much poor design and quality. This one has the plug on the back of the light not the front as the old one has. This avoided a lot of accidents of knocking off the plug when adjusting the light. It also has a separate on/off button, which the old one misses. It will turn off the light completely and you can start over again to save time once the setting of the right color combinations are missed. It also has the indicator light for power, which I found itself a very useful dimmed night light for the room once the little one has fell asleep. And it seems to be pretty durable. Our previous one last only a few month. This one is used same length and still ok.The only thing that I would change is the cover. The cover is designed as Center clear while the side opaque. I found it is quite useless as it still let out a quite lot of light and projection to the ceiling. Luckily I still have the cover from the old one and it covers the whole Hemisphere, which blocks all the shapes and only leave the room a softer light.All in all I am very satisfied and would recommend staying away from the other night light with the plug at the front even though it has a nicer cover.

I got the light today and it was missing the power cord that is listed in the "included items". I emailed the customer service with expectations of a slow response but got one within an hour offering me a whole new unit and I could keep the old one. It will be nice to have a back up because my daughter LOVES this light! I went out and bought batteries just so we could use it tonight. We spent an hour before bed catching fish with our shadow hands, and getting "stung" by jellyfish. This kind of light is all that has worked to get her to sleep!!Update: I got the new light and it works perfectly! I have the other as a backup incase the other one gets destroyed by heathen children. So far it's held up so well. The dome with the shapes that goes over the light has been smashed and indented several times. Luckily I put the second one that comes with the light in with the back up light. But the first one that looks a bit crinkled, has popped out back to normal several times and projects well. You don't even notice any deformity in the shapes being projected.
