Q: Is there a reason why some have rtv & some don't? i have a masterbuilt electric smoker that i want to seal better.

this is a self stick gasket..... the rtv is to seal up other cracks and gaps that don't require a gasket and don't need to be opened and closed often

Q: Will this be enough gasket for a Oaklahoma Joe Bandera vertical smoker?

It should be fine. It comes in 15 foot rolls.

Q: Should this be used on a trager grill?

yes you can use this on a Traeger thnx!

Q: Would it work to place around a cast iron dutch oven to fix lid wobble and make a comlete seal to trap steam inside? (Bread making, 500 deg.)

This sealer is meant to seal areas that smoke/heat would escape. It’s a permanent sealant. I would not recommend using it on a Dutch oven.
