Excellent product with even better instructions
I had never mounted a grab bar before and this was for a fiberglass shower. The SolidMount was perfect for the job but even better was the excellent and clear instructions including a video tutorial. Telling me exactly what size drill bits to use and so forth was perfect for my novice skill level. I learned a lot and ended up with a very sturdy bar in the shower.

The grab bar support was exactly what was needed to give the grab bar support on the thin wall of the shower. Once measurements were triple verified for the studs, the installation was easy. Great product

Watch their video and follow exactly and it will do the job 100%!! Had a 2" void and I was impressed after installing it and again impressed after installing the handicap bar.It is as if you screwed it directly to a solid wall, worth the cost for sure, great product!

product makes putting handrails in for handicapped shower bathtub surround very easy. Read the directions follow what they say you’ll have no problem.

Works great
We installed this for an elderly relative because our shower tub combo was fiberglass. Seems good and sturdy. They weigh under 150 pounds and it does not budge.

Fiberglass Grab Bar Installation Kit
Absolute precision is required. If the spacer is not perfectly perpendicular to the wall stud the flange will not seal flat to the fiberglass surface. Be prepared to fill in gaps with caulk. Cost of the product is excessive for what is included.One of the lag bolts broke while snugging it down properly. Did not use excessive force.I had to secure the grab bar without the spacer on one side of bar. Will hope for the best.

Works Very Well
The video was quite helpful. I installed a 32" bar on studs that were 32" apart, and measurement was right on target. Video was quite helpful. Very sturdy.

this KIT DOES NOT WORK WITHEVERY GRAB BAR .tHEY CAHARGE FOR DEL PLUS CHARGE FOR RETURNS.
i PLAN TO LET MY FRIENDS KNOW AND SHOW THEM THE PROBLEM. WE EVEN TOOK THIS KIT AND BAR TO A HARD WARE STORE TO SEE IF MY HUSBAND WAS DOING SOMETHING WRONG. Their ANSWER WAS IT WILL NOT WORK.
