MakitaP-52093 Flat Bit, Multi-Colour, Set of 8 Pieces

These are nothing like a makita product don't know if it was a bad batch got my doubts they're not good enough to even describe as blunt ! Do not mistake these for makita clearly they're not have since had a replacement and they're worse somehow these fakes have infiltrated the system avoid at all cost only gave 1star so people can see review .

My problem is not so much bent shafts, but that the 1/4- inch hex fixing tolerance is out by quite a bit (see image 1) in fact only 3 out of 8 are actually in tolerance, so allowing the hex holder to snap around the drill bit. This is ofcourse the difference between a secure bit and an unsafe non-locked bit. I’d appreciate the suppliers feedback, these must be bought in from a third party supplier. I’m sure that Makita would be surprised by what is passing under their highly respected name, not least with the comments of other reviewers as well. I give 1 Star only for the Makita Brand name and packaging, but this does severely discredit an otherwise great Brand.Problem Makita P-52093 - 5/8 bits won’t fit into my Makita DTP141 1/4 inch head coupling. Please advise.

Very disappointed that a brand like Makita sends out a product that is not up to standard. One of the drills 12mm was bent so wobbled like hell when in the drill, you could not use it. It's a shame as the rest are great and work spot on

Diabolical...Seven spade bits with seven bent shafts.Was worried my chuck was worn, but then after putting them in another drill and a drill driver confirmed they were useless and had wasted 20 minutes of my life.Lovely box...completely rubbish tool...and this is a review from a man with a workshop full of Makita tools!!!

These are possibly the worst drill bits I have ever seen. All bent and wobble all over the place. Having to return as clearly not a genuine product. The finish on them as you can see from the photo is literally worst than ones you get in pound ships. Absolute joke these are for sale as not fit for any use what so ever. Don’t even deserve 1 star
