I love the table learning while you eat. These are wonderful plus there's many words. They're strong and will protect the table. They appear colorful in appearance.

We love these placemats! We purchased the color/shape set a year or so ago and now purchased the month/days of the week set. These bright colored mats are easy to wipe clean and don't stain. We use these daily and it took over year for any of the color to show wear. Three meals per day = great learning opportunity! Don't pass these up!

I have a preschooler and a child in elementary and after just a few days my husband was asking why we hadn’t purchased these ages ago. We’ve been using SkipHop placemats, which wash well and are highly durable, but it’s just an animal face. These are much more engaging and provide an opportunity for learning during meal times - when my children are satiated and happy and much more open to learning than say, any other random time of day. They wash well and the stick on the bottom is perfect. I saw another review that said something about beads falling off. The bottom of ours is a single layer of clear rubber. Pizza, salsa, and marinara sauce have yet to stain them. And they dry quickly. Will be ordering the more advanced ones as our children grow. For this purchase we got the 4 pack with shapes, colors, abcs, and numbers and a 4 pack with money, time, seasons, and calendar.

We needed a some decent placemats for our toddler to use at the kitchen table, and of course there are certain qualities a toddler placemat should have. Perhaps most importantly, they need to be large, non-toxic, and easy to clean. These placemats have received high ratings so we decided to try them, and we are very glad we did.Here is what I like about these:1) They are LARGE, which gives them good table coverage. Sure, they could be even bigger, but at some point they would become unsightly. These strike a good size balance.2) They are non-toxic. I realize that's something you shouldn't have to say, but these days you can't be too careful.3) They are completely waterproof and very easy to clean.4) Their underside keeps them from slipping (well, sort of -- see below).5) They are colorful, and having several different packs of these allows us to rotate them frequently to avoid monotony (both for our toddler and for us!). They are also available in a range of age-appropriate designs, from those that teach shapes and colors to ones featuring the periodic table.I have only two small complaints:1) I would like these to be a little more slip-resistant. They have a "lightly rubberized" under-surface that keeps them from sliding around too much, especially if you have anything of weight on them, but it would be nice if they had just a bit more grip to them. Having said that, their grip probably depends largely on what kind of table you have; we have a finished wood kitchen table and these hold moderately well to it.2) These are rather expensive for four placemats. Having said that, they are very high quality and should last the entirety of our two kids' childhoods, so in this case you do get what you pay for!I would definitely purchase these again -- and I probably will as our kids outgrow the "beginner" designs.

We love these placemats! I bought these for my 3 year old who is obsessed with anything that moves. He loves them and talks about the different vehicles. He will even take the placemat with him when he gets up from the table!The placemats are flexible without being too thin. Colors are great and the text is very easy to read. They stick to the table well and clean up is easy. We will be ordering more placemats from merka.

Very pleased with this set. This is the fourth brand I’ve tried and so far they’re holding up really well. They’re easy to wipe clean or wash with soap and water. The light texture on the back actually does grip the table and hold them in place (no more sliding and spills when the kids accidentally push them while getting up or sitting down at the table). Both my kids (age 3 and 6) enjoy the graphics. My oldest is even learning from them. They’re thick and firm enough that when my youngest tries to fold them (he’s a true test of any product’s durability) they are fairly resistant to his efforts. They’re also slightly larger than the ones I’ve tried in the past so they provide a little more coverage. I think these are a winner and worth the cost.

Nice mats that are easy to clean and sturdy.

These placements are really cute and educational, but the best part is that they are easy to clean and sturdy! They weather the constant barrage of my toddler’s food mess and not only hold up well but simply require a baby wipe to clean after each use.

The plastic goes all the way around so water can't get into the paper.I live in Canada, so I have to tell my kids Canadaian equivalents (holidays etc), which is the only thing I don't love about these placements.

My toddler really likes these placemats. They are good quality material. Easy to clean and great for having on the table when eating or doing crafts.

Bought them my grandson who is making a habit of hitting the dining room table with the end of his spoon. Trying to redirect his enthusiasm. 😉

Son muy bonitos, resistentes y con cosas importantes en inglés. Tienen buen tamaño y calidad.

Compre varios manteles hasta que di con estos, estoy muy contenta con mi compra... la calidad del material es excelente, son fáciles de limpiar y no se resbalan porque tienen goma en la parte de atrás. Los dibujos están bonitos y hace más atractiva la hora de la comida para mi hijo... los recomiendo 100%
