We are not doctors:My husband is in constant pain. He uses the pinwheel to distract the brain by running it across the skin, on a different part of the body, "Defering the pain". He says it may be fleeting, but any respite is welcome. It is easy to use and we'll worth the money.

**my review is for people using this in bedroom sports**My only complaint about this particular wheel is that it isn't sharp at all, which makes for a good beginner tool. It's great for experimenting to see if you like it. It is a little bit noisy but that didn't bother me. The cost is good for what you're getting, and it gets the job done if you want to try it out. I personally would want it to be sharper. It fits in the hand nicely, and is easy to use.
